a/n: finally i have the time to update

The staffs went through all night and day, preparing for their latest cover magazine. Modifications were changed and checked multiple times, editors scrutinized every detail to conceal any imperfections or mistakes, and the team of directors would review each time improvements are made. Publicity wise, the news of JB as the cover model garnered attention from various eyes including fashion designers and analyst, ahgases, and other magazine companies.
Seulgi was once again alone in the studio, sometimes accompanied by Seungwan and Dokyeom despite after working hours. She scrolled through the instagram page of her own magazine, constantly rewatching the sneak peak videos of JB's introduction and his pictorials. Although she finally found out that she once met him before out of work context, it strucked her that his coy demeanour was just a wall he put with. He was easy-going, as if he was just a normal man in his 20s that enjoys simple things in life despite the glam he was put under as got7's JB.
"You just lost a golden opportunity,"a sigh escaped from Bomi's lips.
Seulgi texted her about JB but Bomi was much more energetic in knowing the tea as if she was the main character instead. Hence, they video called. She peeled her eyes away from her phone screen, dismissing Bomi's pushing tactic to make her close friend delve deeper into the celebrity's life although Seulgi doesn't cross the line because of personal space.
"So what now? After you're completely done working with JB, what's the next plan?"
Her forehead creased. There was nothing left for Seulgi to do. They just happened to crossed paths in another country, and ended up working together in Seoul. "There's no next plan, Bomi. It's the end."
The married woman groaned and rolled her eyes, leaning back against her armchair while filing her nails. "Boooring,"she scoffed.
"Honey, what are you doing?"
A male voice spoke over the line and coming into the screen was Bomi's husband. She looked up to him and flashed a wide grin, his arms encircling around her neck, chin resting on the crown of her head, and eyes squinted at the screen. "I'm video calling Seulgi."
Seulgi whom witnessed and heard it all had her insides curdled like milk with lemon. In a subconscious gesture of disgust, her nose wrinkled and she drew her head backwards. From the salutation of 'honey' which would never slip out of her lips, and the close intimacy between the married couple which are deemed normal but not a comfortable sight for the single Seulgi, she couldn't bare to look their way.
"It seems like your dear husband needs you at the moment so I'm ending the call."
"Awww why? We can talk more about JB. Should I let my husband give you some tips on what guys like? Well, you know how we ended up datin-"
Even before Bomi could continue her sentence, Seulgi cut her off and ended the video call. She knew Bomi would go on and on about dating advices and her romantic love story with her husband when he popped out on the screen. It was a fatiguing cycle to her eyes. Once the studio fell silent, she heaved a sigh. However, the tranquility didn't last for long when JB came to the studio unobtrusively; hushed footsteps and no greetings whatsoever.
"Here you are,"his rich tone sent shivers down her spine.
Seulgi whipped her head up, eyes almost falling out of its socket by his out of the blue appearance. She expected him to come but not in an inconspicuous manner. They contacted through JB's manager. Before the magazine gets published and printed out soon, he seeked clarification on the unreleased and released cuts from the photoshoot. Tremendous amount of pictures were taken and JB would like to save all his photos for uploading on his instagram profile and keeping it as memories, hence Seulgi compiled all the photos into a thumb drive specially for JB. Sending all the photos at once through online platform would just get messy.
