Leo's PoV

Damn .. Could this day get any worse .. First finding out the leak of the files on the Norman deal then the news of the deal going off the window to Barnes and associates .. Ugh.. I wish I could get my hands on the culprit right now...I would squeeze the life out of that bastard..no one gets away with crossing 'Leo Reese' ..

My cellphone is ringing incessantly for the past few minutes but I'm too angry to look at who could it be calling ..

Letting off my steam ..I check it to see that it is Kate who is calling non-stop ..this better be important...

' yes Kate .. Hi.. How are you.. What is it? Really.. Friday's? This coming Friday ? ..Oh ok.. Yes yes I get it.. Yes I will write it down .. Okay see you then ..bye.. Love you too..

I hang up the call from my baby sister.. Yes Kate's my dear & only sister, whom I love with my life ..my mom and dad are no more ( they died in an accident few years ago ) and that leaves both of us  to ourselves !

Kate is an interior designer and has a successful label to her credit.. That girl surely has some sound sense of decoration.. Which I don't agree with always as is doesn't match my taste.. But going by her long list of clients she is good at it.. A feeling of pride and love for Kate overtook all the anger I was feeling at the moment ...

And I would have been happier on her coming to visit if it had not been for this fiasco at the company... It's like all your hard work of three weeks just went down the drain.. It sure doesn't make much of a difference financially but treason is not something I take lightly ..

Devon has been quite the pacifier till now..he is personally getting everything investigated .. I trust him with my life.. He and Clara are my best buddies and I remember it's been long since I visited her ..

Another instance that has got me really disturbed is when those blue eyes and pink lips were just an inch away ...She bumped into me and then behaved like it was all my fault ..the  of that womanShrugging away my way ward thoughts I wonder who that infuriating woman was .. I had never seen her in the office building .. I surely would remember if I had ever seen her.. She was not that forgettable.. Maybe visiting some employee or was she some new recruit? as that was Devon's department and there were several of them who I had not seen on my visits here.

Looking out of the window and in my thoughts ..I did not realise when somebody entered my office until there was a tap on my shoulder!

' hey Leo .. Greeted Devon ..

' hey yourself .. Devon .. Missed you man.. Clara too.. '! I replied back hugging him.

'See I'm sure you are pretty stressed out but everything's under control and very soon we would find out who the culprit was .. Until then I don't want you freaking out and going all commando on your staff .. Okay ' Devon said with a smile ..

That got a smile back from me.. Which Is definitely mostly reserved for my family and friends..

'And in the mean time Clara would love to have you over at our place for dinner .. And let me quote her words 'every dinner' until you are here!!  He completed..

Laughing at that .. I patted Devon on the back and said' Please give my message to Clara that it would Be an honour to do that but Kate's Gonna be here Friday and I have to prepare few things at my apartment for her arrival.. Though I'm sure we could have dinner tomorrow night.

' wow that's all the more better .. Kate has to come too..

' ya sure I will pass on the invite to her too..

'Devon ..Regarding the leak what do we have till now.. '
I asked him

' it's not a singular episode Leo ..it has been in three different instances and it was planned before hand .. So to find the criminal is not going to be that easy as they were prepared for all this ...Though we have rounded up the entire database team for inquiry and will have to question the others too.. Can't leave anyone out...'he explained

We are busy with some other files that need attention and discussing stuff of the layout for the next project that we would handle..When there's a knock at office door and in walks Matilda in all her usual glory.. With glory I don't mean she's a regal or something.. She is the head of the advertising department and has a liking for showing a little more cleavage than the others! The only reason she was still around at my company was that she was good at her job..

'Good afternoon sir' .. She tried to purr in her sugary sweet style. Wearing a body fitting grey dress which was obviously low cut on the top but she didnt know that she wasn't of much interest to me..

'To what do We owe this pleasure miss Thomas'.. I drawled

'These are the files you required on the graphic designs of our next advertisement project.. I thought the sooner we go through the final draft the better we could finish it..Mr.Reese ' she batted her eyelids ..in my opinion for no reason!! Ugh..

Keeping aside my irritation at the moment I took the folder off her hands when I felt her deliberate brushing of fingers against mine..

Oh ..she would be so easy to take to bed.. I thought.. But what's the fun in that.. Too easy is never much good ..

What about the blue eyed one.. My mind somehow drifted off to her again ..I threw that thought aside .. Things were a mess at Reese enterprises and here I was thinking about some woman who was clearly mannerless ..

It's been long since I have had someone in my bed.. That's the only reason my mind was thinking otherwise ! I debated

'Okay miss Matilda you can see yourself out and please inform Diane that Mr.Reese will be out for lunch .. Anything urgent she could call on my private number .

Throwing a sly smile in my direction she moved out of my office and I thanked Devon silently !

Coming down the elevators.. My mind was making plans into how could we find out about the issue at hand .. When as soon as I stepped out of the building I spotted  the red mop of hair in a distance ..it was hard to miss..& as the head turned something in my gut felt funny... She was the same damn woman.. How could I forget that face..

I felt the urge to approach her and give her a piece of my mind with the way she behaved with me.. No one gets away with something like that ..!!

And just then ..she smiled .. And I felt that the clock must have skipped a second .. I'm sure of that ..
This was all very funny.. I was feeling funny.. Something wasn't right!

at that moment I was pulled back into reality when I saw her hand entwined with that of a man.. Towards whom she was smiling.. Almost with all the adoration in the world..

My hand on the handle of the car door tightened until it was white ..Some rare feeling was seeping through me.. And at the moment I decided to just Rush off to somewhere more peaceful.. Away from all this chaos that my body & mind were going through ..!
