It was cold and stormy night when Ayana Rigby was giving birth. Trees were getting struck by lightnings and falling down. You could hear the faint howling of the wolves in the distance mixing with the raindrops hitting the roof. The loud humming of the wind and the banging of the tree branches on windows and walls created calming atmosphere. Ayana's grunts were just a background noise at this point. The storm was raging when her baby girl was born. The moment she heard the sweet crying of her baby girl it was like everything stopped, little did she know how accurate it was. The storm stopped for a bare second and then continued on. As Ayana gazed adoringly her newborn daughter she knew she was special. She had a glimmer in her bright burning fire like eyes. She took her husbands hand and whispered
"Isn't she perfect?"
Lucian turned his attention from the storm to his wife and newborn daughter. He could feel something inside of him spreading. It was warm and it spread fast. Love, it was love. The most overwhelming love he had ever felt. He knew he'd protect her with all costs.
"Yes, she truly is."
He whispered and gave his wife a loving kiss. Neither one of them had never seen eyes so alive with flames. There was a story passed on for generations in Ryslin Forest.
The story tells that one day there will be a girl with eyes full of flames, hair the shade of the ashes of phoenix, skin pales as snow and lips with the intense shade of blood. She would bring power unlike anything ever seen before. She would bring the flames of phoenix and the force of their ever burning light. She would lead the way to greatness or pure chaos. Her path wouldn't be easy but she was destined for great things. She was the change. She was the revolution.
Ayana hummed a sweet lullaby as she rocked back and forth trying to get her baby to sleep. It was just hours after birth and the storm had passed. Now it was just peaceful and quiet. She smiled down on her baby's face. A single tear of happiness rolled down her cheek. They had been trying for a child for so long, failure after failure. But finally now they were there. She was putting her very own baby to sleep. She couldn't have been any happier. She never wanted anything more and now she had it all. She had a loving husband, a home, farm and the most beautiful baby girl she could've ever imagined. Her heart was filled with joy and warmth. She knew she wanted to name her Lilith. There was no doubt in her mind about that. Lilith embodied the strength and power she wished for her baby. Lilith would be a great name for someone with a great purpose. Lilith was after all the first woman god made. There is a darker side to the name but she believed that the name gave her form of direction. She could pick her path herself but the name was there to encourage her to live up to her true power.
That moment was filled with so much love and warmth. It was almost like a bubble of love and happiness. One that felt nothing could break. But if she only knew what was to come. All this happiness and love would be torn down by sudden loss, sadness and intense pain. One that nobody could see coming...
