Also my friend demanded another updated over a FaceTime so I'm sorry but I must give. :)

Cuori's POV
"I'm so nervous." I told Shiner. It was our last period before lunch, when they posted the cast list.

"You'll get the part C, so don't be!" she assured me.

I groaned. "Ya sure about that? Brooke was pretty good," I trailed off.

"Oh shut up!" Jack threw a balled up piece of paper at me. "You're gonna get the part and if ya keep denying it, I'll ban ya from the lunch table." He threatened.

"Please Kelly, you can't go two seconds without me." I teased.

Jack scoffed. "I went 12 years!" He retorted.
"I went 13!" I mocked.

"Would you two please shut up?" Albert requested a mock smile on his face. I took the paper from earlier and threw it at him. He caught it and tossed it in the trash.

"There goes our entertainment for 30 more seconds." Jack sighed eagerly checking his watch. He was just as excited to learn the casting as we were. He was always like that, cheering everyone on no matter what. The bell rang signaling the end of class. 

We all packed up our stuff quickly and headed to the theatre wing, not even bothering to stop for lunch. When we arrived, a group of kids were already outside, checking the list over and signing initials. I took a deep breath and walked over with Shiner. Spot was there as well, I saw him hanging around against the wall.

I stepped up to the list scanning for three main parts. I smiled widely when I saw Shiner had landed Maria with Davey as Tony. I scanned further down the list and found my name. Signing my initials, I turned around to find Spot right behind me. Albert, Maddie, Davey, and Jack behind him looking at me hopefully.

"Well?" Spot asked.

I sighed trying to look disappointed but my face broke out into a stupid smile. "I got it." Spot's face lit up, not his regular smirk but an actual smile. A beautiful one. My crush for him had never gone so crazy and my heart probably shut off when he wrapped me in a hug, his laughs filling the air.

"This is amazing, C!" Davey gave Maddie a high five as the two squealed over their parts. I couldn't believe it. I was in so much shock. The group of us walked to the lunch room,

Davey and I geeked out over our scenes together, mostly our deaths.  We were both wondering how they were going to pull it off. I was wondering how I was going to pull it off.

We arrived in the lunchroom, still chattering up a storm. I looked over at the table Spot normally sat at to see Brooke there ranting and complaining to Ace, who glared at me. Spot saw them too.

"Oh, this should be fun." he whispered to me. We sat down at our table, still talking and trying to ignore the fact that the snobby blonde and Ace were making their way over to us.
"So, heard ya got the part." Ace said coldly. I took in a deep breath, giving Spot a look before turning to Ace.

"Yeah. I did." I said.

Ace rolled his eyes. "It's only because you have Kelly on the inside. If he wasn't running tech, Brooke would have gotten it." He stated flatly.
"Well someone has turned into a huge dick." I retorted. Ace glared daggers at me.

"Cuori deserves it Ace. Brooke's vibrato was messy, her time step was off, she can't do the one dance break in the opening number right, and she's extremely stiff. At least Cuori and Davey have chemistry and not Brooke trying to look hot." Spot interrupted, shutting Ace down immediately.

I was biting the inside of my cheek to keep from laughing. Spot just put Ace in his place, and it was extremely funny. Ace opened and closed his mouth like a fish, Brooke doing the same.

"Bye bye!" Spot waved at the two who stormed back off to the table. I burst out laughing along with the other guys, Race completely on the floor.

"You- oh my God- that was amazing!" I laughed out wiping at my tears dramatically.
Spot smirked. "He needed it. Is that the girl he cheated on you with?"

My laughing stopped. "Yeah." I said sadly.
"I'm sorry for bringing it up." Spot apologized when he saw my change in demeanor.
"Nah you're fine." I smiled.

Race dramatically climbed back onto the table laying his head on Albert's shoulder, the two still laughing hysterically. Davey entered the cafeteria, three binders in hand. He handed one to Shiner and I.

"Rehearsal starts tomorrow kid!" Jack beamed.

Shiner was practically screaming now. "WE. HAVE. TO. KISS!" She yelled, shaking my shoulders. We were up in my room studying lines, the sooner off script the better.
"Better start practicing." I smirked.

"NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR JOKES!" She yelled.

I laughed, rocking backwards a bit. "You'll be fine!"
