Background Knowledge
You always travel around with the meme squad. You're friends with them, but you are especially close to Error. He can be a little shy sometimes, but you find it cute. However, something weird has been going lately. . .
Your POV.
Ah shit. Here we go again. I sigh out of exhaustion. I don't know why I'm surprised. This happens every week. Currently, I was hoisted over a certain glitchy-eyed skeleton's shoulder. I could hear distant shouts from Error as Blue ran away, unfortunately with me. When this happened for the first time, I was embarrassed and confused. I would thrash around, trying to get him to put me down. By the sixth time, I just sort of excepted it. It became a routine thing.
"Come back with my y/n!"
I choked on air and my eyes widened. Did I hear that right? Did Error just say 'my'? It seems that Blue heard it too because he came abruptly to a halt. He turned around just as I saw Error running up to us. Now, however, I couldn't see anything so I listened for their voices instead. "Excuse me?! Did you just call her yours?!" Blue sounded upset and shocked. "Y-Yeah I-I did. N-now give h-her back!" Error's usual stutter returned and I could just imagine his nervous demeanor.
Blue scoffed at him. "As if! This is the last time we play capture the flag with y/n! I'm winning the game and keeping her!" Excuse me?! I am not a prize! And that's what I would have said, if I hadn't been so interested in the conversation. Blue had taken a step back, leading me to believe that Error had tried to advance on him. I started feeling really helpless strung over Blue's shoulder like this, unable to observe what was happening.
Surprisingly, I felt myself being lifted off of his shoulder. I looked around confused and noticed that I was wrapped in Blue's strings (idk(^_^;). They weren't wrapped so tight that it hurt, but I was unable to move. I was also suspended in the air. Welp. This is my life now.
I looked at what was happening and noticed that they were both in fighting stances. "Wow. No no no no. Let's not physically fight guys! Why don't we talk this through?" I tried to reason with them, but they ignored me.
Error was shaking out of fear, but he showed no sign of backing down. Blue stood confidently, smiling smugly at Error. "You really think you can win this fight, Error? We both know how weak you are. Just give up. Like last time." I noticed Blue grit his teeth at his last words. Error faltered slightly. "Blue! I told you it wasn't like that!" Okay. I am seriously confused right now.
"SHUT UP, ERROR!"
Blue sent a single bone flying at Error out of frustration. Luckily, it only barely grazed his cheekbone. He stepped back in surprised.This is gonna get out of hand really fast. I struggled against the strings that bound me, but it didn't do anything. Think. Think! Blue was preparing for another attack and I panicked. "GUYS STOP!"
They both looked at me, shocked. Blue's attack disappeared and he dropped his stance. Good. "Listen. I don't know what this is about, but please don't hurt each other! I don't want either of you to get hurt!" They blushed lightly and both looked away. "Now. Blue. Put me down." He hesitated, but did as I said.
I stretched my arms out a little from the lack of movement. "Thank you." I walked in between the two of them and motioned for them to come together. They walked slowly forward so that they were in front of each other. They both shared a look of confusion. "I want you two to shake hands and apologize."
Error protested. "But why do I have to apologize?!" I gave him a look and rose my eyebrows at him. He pouted and put his hand out in front of him. "Fine." He grumbled a bit. Blue just stared at Error's hand skeptically. I sigh and grab Blue's hand. I brought it up and made them shake hands.
As soon as I let go of Blue's hand, he retracted it. "Sorry. I guess." I nodded in approval and looked at Error. "Yeah. Sorry." I clap my hands together and smile. "See?! That wasn't so hard!" A blush covered their cheekbones.
I grab Error's hand and look over at Blue. "Now that that is settled, we're gonna head home. I'll see you next time you kidnap me!" We start walking off, but something stops us. I look down at my free wrist and see Blue's strings wrapped around it. I glance back at him and notice he's looking away from me. His face is abnormally blue. "Wait. Do you think you could stay a little longer?"
My eyes widen and I blush a little. "Sure I'll stay. Just for a little while." Error tightened his grip on my hand. "I'm staying too. I don't want him to take you again." I smile at his sweetness and nod. We walk back to Blue and I see Blue glare slightly at Error. I try to break the tension.
"So do you want to play a game?"
