Things As They Are

Previously I took part in a project called Things As They Are. The groups aimed to us a mix of art and writing to cut through the societal noise around mental health and to give an insight into what is causing the mental health crisis for today's young people. For this project I worked with York artist Mim Robson, who I met during my mum's cancer battle at Cancer Care and pointed me in the direction to help me cope with my mum's predicament. The display was first exhibited at York Explore Library during the latter part of 2018. Then exhibited at York Hospital in the main corridor between June-September 2019.The group worked through artforms such as poetry, storytelling, visual art to show the public that Things As They Are.
