I woke up in a hospital

She came running in crying and hugged me

Pat: you haven't eaten in 3 days Jo, and you've been cutting yourself

I just turned facing away and closed my eyes

He nods and leaves

Everyone leaves except Patrick
Pat: hey what's going on?

Avani: babes we saw Nick trying to gulp down the girl
I looked down and started fidgeting with a bracelet my dad gave me

I looked up
J: my mom made me break up with him because his dad is her bf, when I said no she umm
Avani: she what?
J: she pulled a knife on me Van
Pat: oh hell no
I grabbed Patrick's hand before he could leave

Avani: everyone can come back in! Except Nick
Nick: what why?

Two days later

Doc: you can leave now
J: thank you
Pat: here I'll carry you
You saw Nick getting jealous but ignored it because he had clearly moved on

I smiled and rolled my eyes

Avani: I'm so staying over, Pat tell dad I'm staying over
Pat: sure I'll pick you guys up and we can go to school
Quint: glad you're ok

Quinton went to hug me but Nick pushed him off

I helped Quinton up and he had landed on something sharp so his arm was bleeding

He pulled away and we both smiled
J: ok ok come on we gotta get you to the nurse
We walked to the nurse and she helped him with his cut

I held his hand and he calmed down a bit
Nurse: all done, now be careful
J: will do thank you

He put his good arm around me and kissed my head
J: that means no fights Quinton

J: but nothing ok, you're gonna listen or you have to go to the doctor

I smiled and he scoffed and tickled me

He stops and I tried catching my breath

Pat: hey loser, wanna hang with us after school
J: can't I have to help my mom
Avani: does that mean I can't stay?
J: I'm so so sorry Vani, maybe tomorrow

J: I'll be right back I have to go to the bathroom
I smiled and walked away, I grabbed my vape from my backpack and before I could use it a second time Avani came busting through

He walked away and he seemed really disappointed so I followed him and saw him picking a fight

He threw the Poot guy ok the ground so I ran and stepped in front of the guy with tears in my eyes

He was about to run when Quinton pushed me out of the way

I saw her laying on the floor with blood on under her and Patrick covered in her blood
What did I do?

I ran over and carried her to my car I didn't care that my car was gonna smell or get stained I need her

I started speeding to the hospital and ended up ignoring a cop, which ended up following me to the hospital
Quint: can somebody help me!!!!
Cop: son you were spee
Quint: ok! Just give me the fucking ticket!! DOC!
I carried her out and the cop just stopped writing a ticket, I took her in and the doctors immediately rushed
Quint: FUCK!
I slid down the wall in the waiting room and started punching the floor while crying
Pat: Quinton! Is she ok?
Quint: I DONT FUCKING KNOW!
Avani: what's going on? Why are you s- are you crying?
I quickly wiped my tears

Doc: she's lost a lot of blood there's not much we can do
Quint: no no no no! I'll donate as much blood as I need to just keep her alive!

Pat: I'll donate too

I looked down and followed the doctor so did Patrick

Patrick got his blood tested first to see if they had the same blood type, they didn't do they tested me and I did

Another doctor did Avani and I felt like passing out but he had just finished and gave me some food and water
They went to Jocelyn with both our blood and told us they would have to wait a while
