~Recap~

Sophia- So you really didn't notice?

Jessie looked at me confused then it changed to annoyance. With that she slammed the door in my face.

The one person I had left. Abandon once again. I guess you get used to the feeling. Shit, even learn to live with it. Maybe I should have left?

~~~~~~~
I stood there for a good minute. I was really in this situation.
Since there was nothing I could do, I decided to just return to my apartment. I had left my purse with my keys and wallet in Jessie's car so they wouldn't get stolen. Maybe they were still in there.
I searched through the windows of her small Ford. My stuff wasn't there? I swear I had left it in the car. She didn't. . . Jessie would never steal my things. Would She?
If I didn't have the keys to my apartment how would I get in? I guess my best bet was going to see if my landlord had a spare key, but boy did she hate everyone.
I caught another bus this time heading to my apartment. Even though my leg still hurt immensely I honestly didn't care. I had been through some crazy bullshit the past few days, and a broken ankle isn't anything special.
My apartment building was nothing special. The windows were covered in dirt, the brick faded. It was basically a dump. But whatever I've lived in it this long.
I knocked on the door to my landlord's apartment. She angrily opened the door.
Landlord- What do you need, woman!
Sophia- Sorry to bother you Mrs. Beth I was wondering if you had a space key to apartment 10?
Mrs. Beth- Wait are you that young kid Sophia?
Sophia- Yes ma'am that's me.
Mrs. Beth- Yeah you fell behind rent so I let someone else rent it out. Sorry kid.
Another door was slammed in my face. Great. I hope this doesn't become a thing now. My only options are the streets, Jessie, or Damien?
Each one came with their downfalls. I walked over to a mall a few blocks away. Maybe I could nab some free samples. And luckily I did. It wasn't much, but It would be enough. I sat on a bench in the mall.
Now where would I choose to go?
~Damien's Perspective~
I needed to find Sophia. But she could live anywhere in this city. Maybe she even left the state. No she's still here, and I will find her.
I was getting a terrible migraine -probably from the vase that was thrown at my head- so I laid down to help it. I would rest then head out to find Soph. Yeah. Despite my efforts of staying awake, my eyelids soon closed. And I drifted off to sleep.
By the time I woke up, The sun was starting to set. I stared out at the crimson stained sky. It reminds me of the blood. It wouldn't stop bleeding.
All I could imagine was the blood. Slowly dripping down my arm. I-I wanted to feel that again, that sensation. Staring down at my own arm, I snapped out of the lustful trance.
I hated having these awful thoughts, but temptation is a powerful emotion. Luckily, I had Sophia to occupy my thoughts. She could be the goal I can focus on.
I sprung up from the window sill. Grabbing my coat laying on a chair, I headed out the door. I was determined to find her.
The air was cold and rigid. While strong winds prevented me from moving fluidly. I would check the mall first. It's a popular location so Sophia might be there. Soon a bus arrived to take me to my destination. By then the weather had almost worsened. My breath was visible in the cold night air while the sound of rain drops played in the background.
