"We suck." Naruto fell to the ground and accidentally slammed his head into a rock he didn't see. He just acted like that didn't happen, and his brain didn't just smack his skull like doing a belly flop.
"That's an obvious fact." Shikamaru joined Naruto on the ground with much more grace.
"What's the point in fighting anymore? We're the only ones alive." Sakura said.
"Instincts, I suppose." Sasuke answered.
"It's just too engraved into our mind to fight after six years of this." Gaara added.
"I wish we were still genin." Naruto groaned.
"You still are, dobe." Sasuke pointed out.
"Hey, so don't be mad, but I just remembered this jutsu that could save us all. Like, all of us. You know, prevent the war from happening, and everyone still being alive." Kurama admitted.
"You what?!" Naruto stood up so fast he got dizzy and fell back down hitting his head on that rock again. "Damn rock."
"I said don't be mad, dumb human. But, yeah, it's a pretty awesome jutsu." Kurama bragged.
"Well spit it out." Naruto ordered.
"You and your friends go back in time." Kurama made it sound like the easiest thing ever.
"If this is a joke, it's not funny." Naruto didn't want to get his hopes up.
"I wouldn't be joking about it, Kit." Kurama said.
"Ok so how do we do this?" Naruto asked.
"You have to be touching everyone and have them Chanel some chakra into you. I'll handle the rest." Kurama instructed.
"Mind filling the rest of us in?" Shikamaru asked.
"We're going to the past, so group hug everyone! Chanel your chakra into me and Kurama will do the rest!" Naruto grinned.
"We're going to the past? How? Is it even possible?" Sakura asked.
"If I say it's possible, it's possible." Kurama was sassy.
"If he says it's possible, it's possible. That's what he said, anyway." Naruto relayed Kurama's message.
"It's worth a shot, is it not?" Gaara was the first to group hug.
"Why not?" Shikamaru was second followed by Sakura.
"Is the hug necessary?" Sasuke asked.
"Shut it, Teme. We're hugging." Naruto said.
"Hn." Sasuke joined the hug and they all channeled chakra into Naruto.
"What time period are we going to?" Shikamaru asked.
"Uh... I dunno." Naruto said and didn't have time to ask because they were gone the next second.
