"Coron?" Mozelle asked on the phone as I told her that I'll be going to Coron for today. Pangatlong araw ko na ngayon sa Palawan. And so far, so good. Well, except the day I arrived here.

"Uh-huh." mahina kong sagot as I was putting on some makeup, staring at the mirror.

"Mukhang enjoy na enjoy ka d'yan ah? Don't forget to update Sean as well, alam mo naman kung gaano ka-overthinker non," ani niya.

"Yesterday he kept on messaging me! Bakit hindi ka daw nag-reply sa texts niya, kaunti nalang baka i-block ko na 'to, freaking Camacho." kwento niya, pissed.

I reply as soon as possible kay Sean dahil once na wala siyang makuha na sagot galing sayo, tatawag siya agad. That's how paranoid he is. Lalo na kapag nasa trips kami or vacations. Last year when the three of us were in Chicago, nagalit siya kay Mozelle dahil bigla itong nawala.

Mahina akong napatawa. It's true that Sean's an overthinker type, masyado siyang protective saamin. He acts like a dad, pero ni girlfriend wala. And that's on just having flings.

Mom keeps on messaging me too, nakailang missed calls na rin siya sa'akin dahil hindi ko nasasagot. Blaise on the other hand, keeps on sending random memes, ewan ko ba doon.

As a special guest, I told them to have my room locked while I'm away dahil iiwan ko ang mga gamit ko dito including my phone. The last time that I brought my phone while travelling, nahulog ito sa pouch ko, hindi ko na nahanap. Tsaka wala rin namang signal doon kaya wala ring silbi. But, I brought a camera.

It was huge. They were a lot, but it wasn't that crowded. I had no time to reserve a private one dahil hindi naman kailangan, basta may masakyan, okay na.

I stared at the view as the ferry moved. I wore shades dahil nakatirik ang araw while the wind made my hair blow.

Birds. Clouds. Waves. Peace.

I took lots of pictures para ipakita sakanila pag-uwi ko. I also took pictures of myself. Well, alangan naman hindi.

"Di'ba 'yan 'yong model? Claire pangalan di'ba?" rinig kong bulong ng isa as I was standing and staring at the scenery with a camera on my hand. "Oo, siya nga 'yan. Mas maganda pala siya sa personal." sagot naman ng isa, making me smirk as I took some shots.

"May issue siya dati di'ba? Nandito siguro siya para takasan." rinig ko pang sabi ng isa. "Tumigil nga kayo, mamaya marinig niya, lagot kayo." one answered, at wala na akong narinig pa.

Mabuti nalang at nakatalikod ako sakanila. I don't want to ruin my mood. Tinatakasan? Wow. Hindi naman e. Taking a break is different from escaping. Oo, magkaiba 'yon.

Nakatitig na lamang ako sa kawalan with a frown on my face dahil nagsawa na akong kumuha ng mga litrato when someone suddenly stood beside me.

Lalaki.

Ayoko namang tumitig sa kaniya ng biglaan just to see who he is. That would be awkward. Pero in my peripheral vision I can see na may suot itong, polo?

He's wearing a polo on a trip like this? That's new. Maybe he's here for some business? Party? or maybe a Wedding?

My eyebrows crossed because of those sudden thoughts.
