'You wish for company?' asked the voice in the tree.
'Yes.' she answered while her eyes closed as if she was praying to a god.
'You know my rules, Alice. One wish has its own risk, a very high risk.' said the voice to her.
'I'm aware of that.' she replied, 'I'm not going here and make a wish to you if I'm not ready.'
'Of course, you are! You always take every challenge bravely, silly me.' said the voice in the tree with a hint of amusement to it, 'So, now you must take this challenge as if your life depended on it. Because I will not give you such an easy challenges that you may face.'
'And remember this, Alisson. My challenge is a battle-to-the-death. And fighting me is like stucking in the quicksand, the more you make a move, the faster you drown to it.' the voice in the tree said in a dead, serious tone.
'I know, and l'm telling you too. I'm not the one who give up easily, and when I'm challenging someone I'll make sure I'm the one who'll win.' she said defiantly.
The voice laugh as if the girl had said some joke but after the laugh, the voice became cold.
'I always admire you because of your bravery, Alice, but I will admire you even more when you break down into tears and kneeling down on me begging.' the voice said.
After that, the voice disappear.
Alice opens her eyes, said a silent prayer and look at the big old tree once more then started to leave.
The first battle begins with her.
The battle that her only weapon is her bravery and her will to have a happy life.
Will the battle ends in her hands?
Or will it ends her life?
She is Alice, and this is her fight against Love.
