She was running. It was raining heavily and a storm was about to hit, but that didn't faze her. She kept running having no clue as to where she was going. All she knew was that she was running away from the biggest life changing decision of her life. She was slowing down into a jog at this point, beside the crashing waves in a silky white dress. Her mind was racing with all different kinds of thoughts like, "Am I doing the right thing? Did I just make the biggest mistake of my life!? Am I choosing wrong?"

Peter her fiancé was this buff guy, very rich from running his own business. Peter was always organised and it was a must for him to have set plans and for them to work out, some may call him a high achiever or a control freak. She wished he had put this much effort into their relationship and that is why she wasn't happy.

Lou was now sitting on the beach waiting. Waiting, for a sign. Waiting for something or someone to let her know if she's making the right decision. Lou's dress was ripped, sandy, but most importantly ruined, there Lou sat feeling guttered by what she had done.

Lou pulled her knees to her chest and proceeded to lay her head on her knees and started crying. Thinking she ruined everything, that her fiancé was going to hate her for life, not the type of death do us part she had in mind. Peter was her best friend and her roommate.

Lou was wondering what's going to happen now, do I have to move out? Does he? As she was trying to figure out her living situation something she shouldn't be worrying about, then it hit her. "Oh no! No, no, no, no, no!" Lou remembered something she jumped up, wiped her tears away and started sprinting back down the beach. Her feet were making a rubbery noise as they hit the sand.

As Lou was running back down the beach she accidentally ran into this old, wrinkly, wise  couple, falling down onto the sand. The couple were looking out at the boats on the water, celebrating there fortieth wedding anniversary. The old man helped Lou on her feet, she apologised to the couple. She turned but then the man asked, "What's your name?"

Taking a deep breath of the salty air, she responded with, "Lou, my name is Lou."

"Well hello Lou I'm Tim and this is my wife Emily," Tim said reaching out his hand.

"Hi Tim, Emily I'm so sorry again about this I wasn't looking where I was going," She said shaking their hands.

"May I ask why your out here in a dress like that?" He wondered as she had a bridal dress on.

"I'm sorry I can't stay and chat I really have to go!" Lou explained trying to leave the conversation.

"Honey, I don't know why your out here but trust your gut in this decision?" Tim wisely told Lou.

"Sorry I need to get going I'm going to be late...." She said sprinting away.

It was almost going to hit nine pm it has been about two hours since she left, she heads back to the wedding reception because she feels like everyone needs an explanation.

When she arrives everyone has left but the decorations and everything was still there.

She walked over to the front of the service to find out the rings were left on the ground, like they didn't matter to anyone anymore. She fell to her knees picking up the rings in her hand and crying. A sudden tap on her shoulder and a soothing male voice asks her "hey, are you okay?" She turns, looks up and realises it's him. She stands up and says.

"No, I ruined everything with you because I was having mixed feelings for another guy...." She responds having no clue at the time, who she's talking to. She was too upset to even recognise his voice.

"Well darlin' that's okay because no one knows how they really feel sometimes..." He says to her as they sit down in the beautiful, stable wooden chairs.

"Thank you, it just feels like I ruined our amazing wedding because I wanted another guy and I ran out to where we were supposed to meet and he wasn't there..." She tells him feeling terrible.

"Oh, darlin' you may have ran out on me but that's okay because I had someone else this whole time I was only going to marry you to make my family happy" he informs her grinning.

She stormed out of the church with in bear feet feeling the carpet below her.  She got in her white pick-up truck and drove off, but that's all that Lou could remember. In the morning there was a strange man in her bed laying next to her asleep, she jumped out of bed and started looking around. She thought that she slept with another man but really it was her real husband and she almost married someone else!!
