"Please," Valerie Watson flopped onto her best friends bed, staring up at her with innocent eyes and pouted lips. Bree Tanner rolled her dark eyes. Turning away from the girl she continued her work of folding laundry, placing the clean clothes neatly into her dresser. "Bree i'll do anything," Valerie continued.
"Val i can't! Dad will be so mad if he finds out." she responded, closing her drawer and bending to pick up a few discarded articles of dirty clothes off the ground.
"I promise he won't! We wait till eleven— you know he's always out by nine anyways— then we go through the window. We spend a few hours at the party and boom! We're back and no one knows a thing and you get to have some fun for once!" The two girls held each other's gaze for a few moments. Valerie could practically see the gears turning in Bree's head while she went through the pros and cons of Valerie's plan. On one hand, she obviously had thought this through carefully. If all went well, Bree might actually get to have some fun for once in her life.
On the other, if things went south it wouldn't just be a slap on the hand and a stern talking to for Bree like it would be for Valerie. No, Bree Tanner would find herself in a lot more trouble than her sheltered friend.
But as she looked back to pleading friends face, she could see how badly Val wanted to get out. Her bright eyes were gleaming with excitement like she already knew what she was going to say, which she probably already did. Her small smile and raised eyebrows waited in anticipation.
Bree groaned out loud. Valeries arms shot out and wrapped themselves around Bree's torso in a short hug. "Yay! I love you!" She stood up and nearly hopped to Bree's closet, where she began pulling clothes of hangers and tossing them at the poor girl. "We are going to have so much fun!"
