Last Chance

The meeting

Alisa's POV

Happiness, happiness is all I see around me right now, but why I don't feel it? Here I am in Miami, suffering from depress over my parents divorce. I don't want to accept the truth that they divorced. I remember how i felt clearly when they tell me. I felt disappointed like they let me down.

My parents divorce made me lose my concentration from everything include working, too. My boss, who is my senior in both highschool and college and my best friend husband, offer me this 3 weeks vacation to get over the situation. one week has past by already, I still don't feel getting anny better.

Now, walking along the beach, feeling the sense of the sea embrace me, losing in my own thought.

"I'm so sorry, are you okay?"

Hmmm, a deep voice from a man that I bump to. How can that voice so familar? He help me to stand up.

"Thank y..." I lose my word after I saw who he is.

He is the man that I never forget and never forgive him for what he did to me. He own my love and I'm really faithful to him. But he had turned me down. He is my Ex-boyfriend, Xavier Anderson.

Only seeing his face, make my heart ache. The memory flash back seem it happened yesterday. Loving him is like eating a pancake with bitter flavour.

I'm stun as he is, because I've never though, we will meet again one day.

I get myself out from his embrace and turn my sight from his face and walk away, not allowing to see my tears streaming down my face.

Why god do this to me? I'm sad enough from current situation and now I meet him again, make me even more blue. How can I get myself out from this?

Xavier's POV

I was in Miami to meet my client. I decided to walk along the beach after the meeting to relieve the stress from working. And then suddenly a girl bumped into me. I apologized her immediatly and help her to get up and i was stunned. I've never thought I will meet her again. She was even more beautiful from before. I try to follow her when she walk away from me, but something make me froze stop me from follow her.
