So, I wrote that event down into my planner for Friday at 8 pm. It's only Monday right now, so I have a little while to prepare for that.

*ding dong bong bing~*

Looks like it's time to go home. I'll take the bus with Pepper now.

"Ugh, Science was so boring. Learning about carbs or whatever was so dull, I could've fallen asleep."

"But you didn't want to hurt the teacher's feelings, right?"

"Right, Salty-Salt. Anyways, I'm totally going to win Secretary. With my good lucks and inventor brain, I can rule this school."

"Sure you can. My street smarts will get me Sergeant at Arms. Just you wait!"

After what seemed like 525,600 minutes, we finally reached our house. My mom wasn't home, probably off doing a business meeting. But, our dad, Paprika was home, making dinner.

"Hello, my angels! How was school? Did you pick a club?"

"Yeah, we chose the Student Council. Seems fun and will help our careers."

I was lying. Pepper and I swore a lock of secrecy that day to never tell the true reason we joined. We both looked at each other, smiled, and nodded.

"I'm going to the hardware store after this. Do any of you want to come?"

"Sure, I will!" Pepper said, putting her backpack down and grabbing the keys to our family car.

"Salt, have fun at the house, then. Your mom will be home at five, and we'll have dinner then."

"Ok, dad. Have fun, you two."

And, just like that, those two left. I was alone again. So, I went to do my homework.

*bonk*

I heard a little sound from outside my window. It looked like someone was throwing rocks at my window. Too bad this wasn't the end of Episode 11, then the window would've broken and I'd meet a ghost. I opened the window, and saw Katana in my backyard.

"Hey! Can I ask you a question real quick?"

"What? I can't hear you!"

"I SAID, CAN I ASK YOU A QUESTION REAL QUICK?"

"Yeah, shoot it at me."

"DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF MUFFIN AND STUFF SUITCASE LIKES?"

"Uh, lemon muffins and deep quotes. MAKE SURE THAT IT'S LACTOSE INTOLERANT!!!!"

"OK!!! BYE NOW!"

God, that girl is weird. Well, I guess that's a given when your living is a mafia boss. Still, she could at least tone it down at bit.

Continuing on, I got a text from Nickel.

GHBCSarcasm: Do you know what the answer to #13 on the homework is???

SaltyAssault: 34, I think. Check with Test Tube, she's smart.

GHBCSarcasm: Is Forever 21 good

SaltyAssault: Go to Forever 21, make up something good

GHBCSarcasm: Thanks

I continued working and got finished. The rest of the night, I ate dinner with my family, talked with Pepper, and went to sleep.
