Fire Force: Founding Pillar (Benimaruxreader)

Chapter 1

You have always tried to find a place to call home. Ever since your parents were turned into an infernal 18 years ago on solar year 180, you were on your own since the age of 3 after developing your third generation pyrokinetic abilities on the day of your parents death. On the day of the fire, you were awakened into a dark abyss with blazes of black flame and faced a large person in a hooded light colored robe that hides the majority of her facial features besides her mouth. Because of the fire, you couldn't hear or make out what the white figure was saying; however, you did hear the words 'the founding pillar' and 'adolla burst' as the person drifted away into the black flames where I was then returned back to reality and watched my home and parents burn. Because there were no special fire force teams located in your region of tokyo yet, it took the special fire force company hours to arrive. My parents' bodies were not found in the ashes of the scene, but the fire force deemed them as dead. The morning after the fire, rumors began to circulate around the iriya district that your parents were likely turned into infernals by a group of people called evangelists. With you being 3 at the time of their death, you were taken in by a family that did nothing to care for you. By the age of 8, you ran away from 'home', and survived on the streets on your own. At the age of 12, you gave up going to school in order to hunt down the people that were turning people into infernals. Growing up on the streets taught you how to fight and survive. Along the way of growing up, you eventually learned various different martial art styles like Iaido and used that to your advantage to become a part-time mercenary in order to make money and stay alive; however, you were still hunting down infernals and people that call themselves the evangelists.

It was the year 198, where you were on your typical prowl throughout tokyo to look for infernals. You were in your mercenary outfit, which consisted of a skin tight black bodysuit that had a v cut top that showed your chest and shorts. You also had a pair of thigh high boots that allowed you to have hidden knives and weapons in there in case of burning out. As a third- generation pyrokinetic, you had the ability to produce flames throughout your body and create and manipulate flames. With your skills, you were able to produce blue flames and lightning with ease. You were able to create weapons like katanas and kunais with your flame. Throughout the years, you developed your skills and perfected your pyrokinetics so much that you might've been one of the strongest pyrokinetics to be born. Since you scouted tokyo every day to look for infernals, you saw new special fire force companies being formed in both asakusa and arakawa, which gave you reassurance that people didn't have to go through the struggles you faced when you were younger; however, you still didn't like the fire force because they were only in it for the game rather than fighting for the people. You wanted to kill these soldiers the majority of the time, and you did; however, you had to control yourself in order to remain hidden. You were watching a fire force soldier put an infernal to rest when suddenly a boy around the age of 17 smiling like the devil caught your eye as he was walking with his company, shoeless. Just as you were about to get closer to the boy, you get a call to eliminate someone from asakusa. You ended up leaving, but the boy with the devilish smile was some you encountered before when you were younger, but you don't when or how because you've never met him before.

The following night, as you were hopping from roof to roof in asakusa, the thought of the devil boy was running throughout your mind because you just couldn't understand why he seemed so familiar. Asakusa was a very traditional district that differed from the one you grew up in. Everything was very traditionally japanese, which made it more difficult to remain hidden, but you still have to complete the job. As a mercenary, you were very skilled at your job and finished things quickly. Just as you were finishing up eliminating your target, you see smoke nearby and a bell sounding throughout the district. You hear people nearby running and screaming about an infernal. You smirk after hearing this because you hadn't killed an infernal in weeks since new fire force companies were formed. You run towards the smoke and within seconds, you see the infernals back in the middle of the street. As you create your blue flamed katana, you see a young man with neck-long, wavy, black hair that partially covers the front of his face come down from what looks like a flaming mop. This man had different pupilled eyes and a gloomy facial expression, which made you confused but also interested because he looked like a skilled opponent.

Despite his entrance, you continued to attack the infernal. Just as you were about to strike the infernal, a flaming mop stopped my blade from hitting the infernal. This angered you because he was getting in your way from killing the infernal. You turn around angrily to see the man with glowing eyes. His right pupil had a red circle; while his left eye had a white cross-shaped pupil, reminiscent of the tic-tac-toe game. You end up slicing the mop with your blade and lunging toward the infernal once more, only to be interjected by the man again, but this time it was 5 mops that surrounded the infernal. You had enough of this man and yelled "get out of my way, this infernal is mine". As you slice through the mops, you notice that the mops were now pointed toward you and immediately the mops come at you within seconds. You quickly dodge the mops by jumping and slicing through them by using your blue flame as a katana. Once you activate your pyrokinetics, your eyes light up to a bright blue color to signal that you were creating fire. Once all the mops were burned, you immediately turn to the man ready to attack when suddenly he yells.

"this is my territory and the infernals here are people of my district. As the demolishing king of asakusa, I demand that you stop because that infernal you are trying to kill is hiroto and I will do whatever it takes to end his suffering"

This angered you because this man was pissing you off. Before he could say another word, you run towards him and attack with your flames. He quickly dodges your attacks using his pyrokinetics. He was able to extinguish your flame like a second generation, but something seemed off because he also was able to create flames like a third generation. As you continued to throw punches and kicks at him, he was able to counter everything as well as landing a strong punch that pushed me back a couple feet into a crouching position. This sparked your interest since it had been a while since you encountered a respectable opponent so you were excited to see how this battle would turn out. You stand up with a smile on your face and motion for him to come attack you since you wanted to see how he reacted to being the offense since he clearly was really good at defense. He ends up coming at you and uses the first form of Iai to land a strong attack, but you were able to defend against it. After multiple attacks and hits, the battle between you two lasted only 10 minutes; however, it seemed like hours had gone by. You were bruised, burned, and tired from the battle, but he was too. You both saw each other as strong opponents against each other. As you were ready to draw lightning to strike him, another man appeared and drew the attention of your opponent away. Both of the men were wearing the same uniform so you knew that you were in no position to fight since you were tired and your stamina was low from the battle. You took this as your exit to leave, but before you left you smile cheerfully at both of them and say "this was fun, let's do it again some time." as you bow and jump away from building to building.

As Beni was about to chase after you, he realized that hiroto was sitting on the side waiting patiently to be put to rest. Beni eventually put hiroto to rest and starred in the direction in which the woman fled off to. Konro asked him who the girl was, but Beni didn't know how to respond. As they were walking back to the headquarters of company 7, you were on the roof of a nearby building following the men. Once you saw that the two men were special fire force, you became intrigued with their abilities as fire soldiers and wanted to learn more about the man you had battled. Just as you were about to approach the headquarters, your phone rings to inform you that money has been deposited into your account for completing your job. You took this as a sign to come back another day to see what company 7 is about.
