there awsten sat again, on the floor of the bathroom. the cold tiles chilled him to the bone. literally. tears ran down his face as he forced himself to puke yet again. his second time that day and it was only two o' clock in the afternoon.

after about five minutes or so, the blue haired boy was suddenly being pulled away rather harshly from the toilet. the pair of strong arms were wrapped tightly around his small abdomen and the boy was being pulled out of the bathroom and into geoff and his shared bedroom.

"god, i knew it! there was something off about you, i knew it," the brunette boy snapped at awsten, making his body go limp.

"no," awsten said weakly, "that wasn't what it looked like," he added. he was soon being placed on their bed and there geoff was. his face didn't look that happy. at all.

"i saw what i saw," geoff replied, grabbing on to awsten's hands and looking down at him. "what's wrong with you? i thought you changed."

"i did, i'm different i swear. i wasn't purging, i was sick," the younger one replied, not daring to look up at him. "i ate too much, geoff," he added, making sure to make his name sound more whiny than the rest of the sentence.

"are you lying?" he let go of his hands to make the other look up at him. "aws?"

tears started to spill from awsten's eyes as he panicked. "i'm not lying, i'm not."

geoff, unsure of his honesty, turned away from awsten and balled his hands into fists, pure anger running through his blood. he wasn't angry at awsten but he was angry at awsten's thinking process.

"geoff?" awsten muttered, getting up from the bed and walking toward the brunette. "gee?"

geoff whipped around and, without another thought, threw a punch at awsten's face before realizing what he had done and holding his hand over his mouth. awsten didn't really react much, he just raised a hand to his eye and murmured a small 'ow'.

"i didn't mean to i swear," the other said, pulling awsten's hand away from his eye to check out the forming bruise. it was already darkening pretty badly.

a few uncontrollable tears ran down awsten's soft cheeks as he let geoff look at him.

"i think," awsten spoke up, "i think i'm gonna go live with my parents," he finished, taking his things out of the room and walking out of the room hurriedly.

"something wrong, awsten?" otto shouted as he watched the thin boy walk out the door of the apartment, followed by geoff.

"uhhh.. i'll talk to you guys later. maybe," he said the last word with a bit of sadness. geoff stopped in the middle of the parking lot and looked at awsten before looking down at his hands.

geoff truly didn't mean to hurt him. at all. he didn't know what got into him.

awsten got into his car and started it, trying to back out to leave. geoff was in the way.

"move, dumbass," he told him, and he did. now he was right next to the drivers side window.

"awsten, hear me out, okay?" geoff mumbled, "get proper help, don't try to help yourself. it doesn't work, if i have to go to your funeral before this year ends i'm gonna be so pissed."

"well it's a good thing you're not invited then, hm?" awsten smirked before driving off, away from the apartment, leaving geoff worried more than ever.
