Jisung stared at the girl across the English classroom secretly. He had finished his assignments early and doodled on his paper while taking small glances at her.
Taesa. That was her name. The girl that managed to catch Jisung's attention. The reason why Jisung had motivation to come to school everyday— the reason why he had started to score so well in class.
It was all thanks to her.

Taesa was not one to comply to modern beauty standards. Without putting much effort, she was already naturally beautiful, with confidence oozing out of her. She was always kind— sometimes too kind— but maybe that's why Jisung was attracted to her.

Jisung, on the other hand, was very attractive to other students. Everyone used him as eye candy, as he ended up not being as "macho" or "masculine" as everyone thought he would be. When first meeting him, he was extremely shy, but is more talkative afterwards— although no one really recognized it except for his close friends.

Him and Taesa met through an English assignment. The more time he spent with her, the more he realized how much he had started catching feelings for her. He all of a sudden cared about how he styled his hair one day, his grades (not that they were terrible in the first place), and overall became more passionate in his hobbies and lifestyle.

Jisung watched as Taesa finished her assignment. She was done taking notes and saw Jisung looking at her with a smile. She smiled back until all of a sudden, he came in.
Lee Jeno.

Jeno was the stereotypical bad student in cliché movies. He often misbehaved, had bad grades, skipped class every now and then— you get the drill. But the real question is— why was he staring so aggressively towards Taesa?
It wasn't a surprise that Jeno came to class late. In fact, he did this so often that the teacher was tired of punishing him. But he never usually had a problem with anyone in the classroom. He would always aggressively walk towards his seat and doze off in class.
But what surprised the class, and specifically Jisung the most, was that he mumbled a quick "thank you" to Taesa under his breath and sat next to her.

Lee Jeno. Being kind. Not even that— but the fact he even said those two forbidden words appalled the whole class. Was he feeling okay today? Did something happen at home? Even the teacher was taken back, but continued the class anyways.
Jisung furrowed his eyebrows in curiousity, especially with the fact that Taesa had something to do with him. He wanted to warn Taesa— he wanted to tell Taesa what would happen if she were to befriend Jeno. Sure, Jisung and Jeno were friends, but he knew of his bad influence and would never want Taesa to be near him.

And so, the start of an interesting movie begun. The start of Jeno and Taesa's friendship—cliché yet somehow still unexpected— and the slow end of Jisung and Taesa's relationship.

And where was I in this movie? Hm, well I guess you could say I was only an extra. Someone of no importance whatsoever.
     Jisung's childhood best friend. Mira.
