Chapter 4

Izuku gets a call from his father and they go to a café together.
There was an awkward silence before Hizashi (dad's name)
spoke up.
Hizashi: So, how's school? Are you doing alright?
Izuku: yeah. We started class yesterday. What about you?
What kind of work do you do that you went off the grid for 10
years? (Izuku asks giving a scary smile)
Hizashi: haha...ouch. But you're right. I have no excuse. I'm
a researcher. We're working on making capsules to increase
the power of quirks. The mafia ended up trying to steal the
data so I had to go into hiding. I'm really sorry Izuku. But for
some reason, the mafia group disappeared last year. So, I
came back after we confirmed that it was safe to do so.
Izuku: which mafia group was it?
Hizashi: I don't think you'll know them but they're named
'Cammora.'
Izuku: oh. It's the one Kachan and I destroyed last year since
they came after Mom.
(Izuku says while smiling brightly)
Hizashi: haha.. you've become quite capable (*wipes a sweat
off his forehead) I was thinking of moving back to the house
if you don't mind.
Izuku: what did mom say?
Hizashi: She said she was fine with it but told me to confirm
with you.
Izuku: if mom's ok with it, so am I, since I'll be moving out
soon. School's a little too far.
Hizashi: Why don't you stay in my place? I'm leaving
anyway. It's spacious and close to the U.A. what do you say?
Izuku: I guess that works. Thanks.
Hizashi: it's more than big enough for 2 people. Why don't
you move in with a friend or lover? Are you seeing anyone?
Y..you don't have to answer, it's fine.
Izuku: Yeah, I am. His name's Katsuki. We've been going out
for two years and he's my best friend. He's really nice.
Hizashi: oh. Why don't you invite him for dinner? We can get
to know each other.
Izuku: I will. He said he wanted to meet you last night during
dinner.
Hizashi: Dinner?
Izuku: oh, Kachan often comes over for dinner. His mom's busy
with work. You'll probably see him today too if you come to
dinner.
Hizashi: Haha, maybe I will.
