Ming stepped out of the shower and critically gazed at his naked body in the mirror. Sure, he was overjoyed to be giving Kit a family, a biological family. But at the same time...how the hell was Kit not disgusted with Ming's body??? Ming had a few stretch marks, he was rapidly gaining weight, and his ankles were swollen most days. All in all, Ming considered himself an embarrassment. How had Yo dealt with this??

"Ming, everything okay in there?" came Kit's gentle voice.

"I'm fine," Ming called back, careful to sound happy and cheerful.

Kit was quiet for a moment. "Okay. Breakfast's ready. Don't forget, we have that appointment with Dr. Jaruji this afternoon."

Ming hummed in response, slowly pulling his clothes on, then draping a towel over his head before exiting the bathroom. "Hey, Kit-"

"Come here. Let me dry your hair," Kit led Ming over to the bed. Once Ming was seated, Kit got on the bed behind him to dry his hair with the towel. "Don't want you getting sick. I still remember Yo getting pneumonia last year. I don't want the same thing to happen to you, bunny."

Ming felt warm from Kit's attention and care. The older boy had been so attentive and loving this whole time, plus a bit overprotective, but Ming still appreciated everything he'd done. He turned his head to smile sweetly at Kit.

Kit couldn't help smiling back. "What?"

"I love you."

Kit let the towel drop to the bed, hands tenderly cupping Ming's cheeks. He brought their foreheads to rest together. "And I love you." He kissed Ming, savoring the other's sweet lips. "Always so sweet. Did you get into the KitKats today?"

"Not yet."

"Hm. Must be your natural sweetness," Kit winked, loving the blush that spread across Ming's face and down his neck.

Ming sputtered then fell silent, a shy smile on his face.

"I made congee and chocolate milk. Sound good?"

"You should let me make breakfast sometimes," Ming said as he accepted Kit's hand to help him up.

Kit slipped an arm around Ming's waist, noting the small cringe. Is he in pain? "I like making breakfast for you. But if you're really set on it, we can make it together sometimes."

Ming perked at that. "Like my parents do?"

"I thought your parents had a cook..."

"Yeah, but there are days they want to cook together. Mom says cooking with your partner can be an intimacy of itself," Ming was intrigued. He wanted to find out what kind of intimacy making food with Kit was like. "I don't know how, but I want to try."

"And we won't have much time to ourselves after the twins are born," Kit mentioned, helping Ming sit at the dining table.

His fiance made a face. "I didn't even think about that. But," he grinned. "I really can't wait to meet our boys."

He got a kiss on his cheek, causing the blush to reappear. "Me either." Kit put a bowl of congee in front of Ming along with a glass of chocolate milk, then did the same for himself, except he had a cup of coffee. He was concerned when he saw Ming pick at his food. "Does it not taste good?"

"No, it's fine," Ming gave him a reassuring smile.

Kit nodded, taking a sip of his coffee. Ming still wasn't eating much. He'd only taken a couple mouthfuls by the time Kit's bowl was empty. "Ming, why aren't you eating?"

Ming shrugged.

"Bunny," Kit placed a hand on Ming's hand, squeezing it gently. "Talk to me. What's going on?" He was shocked when Ming started to cry.
