A/N;; SO. originally this was going to be third person but I can't write third person without crying over something tbh OOPS. so yeah this is first person, narrated by noelle and yeah. it's kinda short but hey.  [word count; 1372] enjoy~ xo

"Elle?" I looked up at the boy who called my name, furrowing my eyebrows in confusion.

“Who are you?” His eyes went blank, and he ran his hands through his already messed up, raven black hair.

"She has temporary memory loss, which is normal after an induced coma. Her memory should return, since she shows no signs of dementia or permanent damage. The slightest bump or shake could bring it back." The doctor explained to him, and it only built my frustraition.

"Who are you?" I asked the boy again, narrowing my eyes.

"You'll remember soon enough."

“C'mon guys, you've got to come!” Ashton whined to us, and I rolled my eyes.

“Noelle, don't roll your eyes!” Fletch pouted, “you and Kaylee are our good luck charms,” he continued, causing Luke and Blaise to nod as well.

The four guys around my sister Kaylee and me tried to convince us to go to their hockey game.

“Plus, Noelle, your boyfriend will be there,” Blaise spoke up, a sly smirk on his face as he looked around at his teammates. Everybody except me broke out into giggles, while I just sat there with a tomato red face and a humorless expression. They, of course, were talking about Calum Hood, number 43; the captain of the college's hockey team. Sadly, he was the exact opposite of my boyfriend, considering the fact he never took a second look at me.

“Alright, fine,” I gave in, the boys erupting in cheers. Dragging Kaylee with me, we exited our dorm room.

“He's not my boyfriend,” I mumbled as the six of us went to the arena near the school for the hockey game.

So there we were, Kaylee and I in the stands, the boys obviously on the ice. Looking up at the scoreboard, our team was down by three and I didn't want to watch them lose.

“Think they'll pull it around?” We both turned to see a short brunette with piercing green eyes; Taylor. She must've come to watch Fletch.

“Dunno, maybe. It's not like they haven't done it before, but they seem.. distracted today,” Kaylee answered her as Taylor took a seat next to her.

Our team, the Eagles, were currently second best in our league. It was Boston College against some school I never bothered to learn the name of, but their team were the Manets. They held first in the division for the past two years. The guys were sure as hell determined to beat them this year, though. The season had just recently started, and our record was 4-1. The Eagles lineup was pretty good, as a bonus. Calum was captain, Ashton was assistant captain, Fletch was goalie and besides them, Blaise, Luke and a guy named Michael were the best players according to the coach.

Like usually, Calum and Ashton were yelling directions at their teammates as they played, and nobody on the Eagles seemed happy. The Manets got another goal, and everybody was pissed.

“Hey, I'm going to go outside, okay?” I said to Kaylee and Taylor, them both waving me off, intensely focused on the game.

I quietly shuffled out of the noisy arena, leaning against the railing by the door outside. I was the only one out there, and it was a comfortable silence.
