Lunas pov .

" wake up stupid bitch " The head mistress yelled at me .

" Yes ma'am " I hop up off the floor so they could put the beds back . Yeah I sleep on the floor .

I got dressed In my uniform and put my black socks on . The rest of the kids have white socks But When Your bad You are forced to put on the black socks so the people know who the ' Bad ' Kids are .

I got in trouble for sneaking food while I was cleaning the kitchen . But Im not sure why I got in trouble when I had not eaten in 2 days .

I put my hair In a bun on top of my head . Today was visiting hours wich means at least 2 kids get adopted today . I have been here for 5 years and no one has ever even taken the time to look at me .

" Mutt" the head mistress called my Nick name around here .

" Yes ma'am " " Sweep the floor "

I nodded and walked out side to sweep the deck as told .

As I was sweeping I watched all the kids getting played with All the Kids getting their turn to talk to a family or just a person It just reminded me that Im never gonna have that .

I watched and swept for 20 minutes as I wiped the remaining tears from my eyes .

Gus Pov

" I don't wanna go to the fuckin orphanage my guy " I said throwing a fit . I hate kids but I have to act like I love em for what?
" Come on gus you'll like it " My manager pulled me into the orphanage .

30 minutes later of faking a smile so these kids would come and talk with me When I noticed a yung girl maby 12 13? Sweeping the deck . She looked miserable as she was done a old lady walked out and dumped literal garbage and told her to pick the shit up .

At this point I was angry no kid should be treated like that . So I walked up the the girl and taped her on the shoulder .

She winced in pain when she turned around .

" Hi uh Im gus " She nodded as she swept " Can I get a name?" " L luna "

" Luna I like it its unique "
" Thank y you sir " She spoke out of fear .

" Oh please call me gus " she smiled as she tossed the trash away .

" Hey uh I hate to ask you this but uh is that how your treated all the time?"

She nodded and looked down .

" Um ok come with me?" She looked down and walked with me to my manager .

I talked to him about what I saw and he nodded knowing what I was thinking I hate kids but this one didn't disserve the fuckin treatment man .

I walked luna to the old bitch and said .  " Aye Can I sign the papers "

" sure for what child ?"
" The one next to me dip shit "
Luna giggled and the old bitch raised her hand to her before I stepped in front of her .

" Put your hand down and give me the papers so I can sign " She walked to the back .

" Go pack your things love " I said ruffling her hair .

She walked in the building and came out with one bag . and a red mark on her face ?

" Is that it ?" She nodded and looked down " Ok go wait in the car Ill be in there in just a sec. " she smiled and walked in the car .

The old bitch came back with the papers .

" Thanks Be seeing you in cort. " and I walked out with luna .
