Carissa's POV

"Star? Starlaaaa?", I called out.

Gym was over and Starla was still no where to be seen. I was starting to get worried. I turned the corner and found her hugging another girl with neon blue hair and black and white clothes. A shiny silver bracelet dangled from her left hand. I realized who it was,  the second I saw that bracelet. We were rivals back in Guardian Training Camp. Every time we did an obstacle course, she'd win. She ALWAYS won!!!

"Starla why're you hugging Sitsuke?" I asked.  They stopped hugging and Sitsuke replied, "Carissa." She narrowed her eyes.

My anger flared and she clenched her fists. "Sitsuke. Been a long time."

The blueette nodded curtly, and folded her arms against her chest, leaving her silver bracelet to dangle freely, but I was all but determined to stray my gaze from Sitsuke's. It was like the most tense staring contest ever.
Starla saw this and nervously waved her hands around, hoping to get her friend's attention, to no avail. So, she did the next best thing.
"CARISSA AND RANDY, SITTING IN A TREE, K-I-S-S-I-N-"
"SHUT IT!", I shouted, and my face flushed with embarrassment. I gave Starla the best death glare I could muster, and she threw her hands in the air in surrender. "Hey, you guys were going to murder each others with the looks."
"Whatever.", I muttered, still flustered. Sitsuke shifted slightly, to which my body became rigid again as I turned to face her.
"So, what are you doing in Norisville, hm?"

She looked over at Star and said  "I'm here on official business," Then she turned her gaze towards me and narrowed her eyes. "Not that I expect you to understand what that is." Starla's mouth opened, as if she was gonna say 'Oh'. I narrowed my eyes back in return. "And you do? I thought that the only thing you knew how to do was cheating?"  Sitsuke opened her mouth, but before she could say anything, Starla walked between us. "Okay. That's enough. I don't know what's going on but Sitsuki," She turned towards her. "Carrissa and I have to get to class. I dont want to be late to home ec. We're suposed to be making pizza. Anyway, i'll talk to you later Sitsuki."

She grabbed my arm and started pulling back into the school. She looked back and waved. The doors closed, leaving me in a stranded hallway with a furious Jakira Jones.
