Karkats POV
We all met in our meeting place. By us, I mean our small group of outcasts, now including Aradia since sollux has been dragging her along. Now it was me, terezi, vriska, sollux, Aradia, gamzee and tavros.
"OK guts, what do you have last?" I asked, placing my bag on the wall ands getting out my sandwich.
Terezi frowned, sniffing her timetable "uhh..." She paused.
Vriska looked over her shoulder "you've got art, so have I" she smirked, sliding her bag back onto her back.
"Yup so have I" I sighed.
I was terrible at art. I couldn't draw to save my life. Terezi could kind of. Before she went blind, she was an amazing artist and would draw every opportunity she got. She loved art, it was her favourite lesson. Now she frowned whenever it was mentioned. She could still draw better than me, her lines were just a bit wobbly.
It turned out, we all had art. From what I head, Aradia was amazing. When the compliment was giving she smirked, staring at her shoes shyly.
"Vriska, Karkat watch out!" Tavros cried.
I turned to see two basketballs heading towards me and vriska. They were too close for us to dodge. The impact Mae me fall back but terezi caught me. Vriska, on the other hand, fell over, holding her nose.
"Vriska you're bleeding" tavros commented.
"Yeah I know that!" Vriska grunted, standing up and walking away, probably going to get some tissues.
"You OK karkles?" Terezi asked, letting me go.
I stumble back but regain my balance. The ball hit my eye. I could feel it swelling.
"Take me to the first-aid room?" I asked her.
She nodded and took me hand. I blushed furiously as we left. I hoped nobody saw that. I looked back and saw the others talking.
"You're eye smells funny karkles" terezi smirked.
"Its swelling" I groan.
"Don't worry, its gonna be ok" terezi assured me, squeezing me hand.
I blushed more, trying to hide my face under my turtleneck jumper. When we arrived, terezi waited outside while I got an icepack for my eye. I walked out about 20 minutes later, holding the pack to my eye. Terezi was still waiting. She had got out her iPod and was listening to music. Her for was tapping to the beat, her teal headphones with a red Libra symbol on, looking cute on her. Her orange hair was sticking up in places and her freckles gave her an innocent look. Wow I really do have the biggest crush on her. I sighed and poked her arm.
"Oh, hey" she paused the music and put her headphones around her neck.
"Wanna go back or go to the canteen?" I ask her.
"Second one please, I have money" she chirped.
I took her hand and led her to he canteen. I sat at a tablke whilst she bought some plain pasta and some red faygo. She just calls it red faygo, she won't drink any other flavour.
"How long do we have left?" She asked me, her eyes glowing happily behind the red glass. She tilted her head at me.
"About a minute, oops, we should go!" I stand up and she does the same.
The bell goes and e run to art. We stagger into the classroom just in time and start the lesson.
