"Heeseung! Hurry up!" Jay shouts to me. I must have been daydreaming again..

I've been wanting to go ice skating for so long, but never had the chance. It looks so tranquil...but having these nut jobs here.. it'll surely be anything but
"You all good Heeseung hyung?"
"Yeah, I'm okay Jungwon" I chuckle out. Jungwon's always asking how I am, it's cute. I'm pretty sure he has feelings for me though.. Hanbin even told me, but he's more of a little brother to me. Or a son!
"Hmm ok!"
"Ughhh guys~ I'm tired of walking can I get a piggy back ride!" Daniel complains
"Hell no!" Jay shouts
"You're so mean Jay hyung!"
"It's not my fault your six foot ass is heavy!" We all nod in response leaving a frowning Daniel in the back
"Guys were here!!" Sunoo yells to get our attention
"I think Heeseung's about to explode any second now.." Hanbin says dramatically
" I'm just excited. I've never skated before"

The place wasn't much, but to me it looked like paradise. It was a closed off arena that held a tinier dome inside it. Inside the dome laid a sheet of ice. To go on the ice requires a pair of skates, and when you practice and perfect gliding, spins, and other tricks, that dome becomes a stage where you perform the skills you've been learning and perfecting for other people to see and-
"What's that machine thing doing?" Jay squints while pointing at the vehicle, using his other hand to poke me
"it looks like its cleaning the snow!" Hanbin reply's
"I thought it was adding the ice.." Sunoo adds
"No no no, all of you are wrong." a voice says from a seat behind us
"That "machine thingy" removes the rough, snowy part of the ice so it becomes smooth and skatable" "Jake, by the way"
"Jay. Do you know a lot about ice skating?"
"Yup! I've been performing here for five years" "I could help you if you have any questions"
"Performing?!" "Ah- sorry. Sunoo"
"Haha, nice to meet you Sunoo and yes again. With the exception of a few other arenas I've primarily been skating since the age of ten." Jake says while he ties his skates
"Do you guys have any helme..
I hear the conversation fade away as my focus turns to someone sliding into the ring and fixing his shirt. The way he slid across the icy terrain was smooth and effortless. He wore a jacket with black pants looking not much younger than me. My eyes widened when he hopped mid air with a long spin and landed on one leg, the other being in a 90 degree angle as he shifted away from the wall.
"Ah, That's my friend Sunghoon, he's been practicing and performing practically all his life."
"He's really good!" I see Jungwon fowning for a second when I turn to him. "Jungwon, you've been skating for a little bit right?" He actually was one one who suggested we all go skating together.
"Mhm. I actually just learned this cool trick too!" He turns around and sits on the bench behind him placing all the needed equipment on. After he finished he makes his way to the rink.
"Wonnie, you're going now?" Jay questions "That guy's still, I dunno, doing his thing"
"I don't see why not" Jungwon ignores Jays second response
"Be careful hyung!"
Jungwon takes his skate guards off and enters the ring. I have never actually seen him out there. He skated fine, a little wobbly, but fine. He skates around before showing his trick. I think he was a bit nervous, but eventually he got his momentum and jumps-
"Jungwon watch out!" Jake suddenly shouts
I didn't notice it, but Jungwon had crashed right into Sunghoon before getting to show us his trick
"Uop- Hey are you ok?" Sunghoon says as he gets up quickly to help Jungwon
"y-y-Yeah I'm ok..sorry about that" Jungwon shivers
"Here" Sunghoon bites the turtle neck part of his jacket and uses his hands to unzip the zip of his jacket and hands it to Jungwon. Underneath the black and grey jacket he wore was a white button up with strips of his back exposed in the back of the shirt. For a young guy he was pretty fit
"Thank you, I'm Yang Jungwon"
"Park Sunghoon."
"Cool shirt bro!" Jay shouts from the end of the rink. Sunghoon whips his head to the side to see who shouted the compliment, he smiles in return.

After that, Jake waved over for the two to join all of us outside.
"Why do you have a cool shirt on anyways, it's really cold"
"I was practicing for my competition later on today.." Sunghoon awkwardly scratches the back of his neck. He doesn't seem like the talkative type.
"Shoot Sunghoon look what time it is. We gotta go, but I gave Sunoo my number so we hope to see you around sometime!" Jake flashes a big smile before putting his arm around Sunghoon as they walk to the exit
"See you Jake and Sunghoon!" Sunoo waves with us
Shoot.. I didn't even get to talk to him..
Jake and Sunghoon stop in their tracks when Sunghoon whispers something to him
"Let's take a picture!" Sunghoon suggests
"Ok!"
"Say cheese!" Jake says as he holds his phone up

After writing this chapter I saw they posted a picture of the three ice skating so OFC I had to add it 🥺😌 Hope you enjoyed the first chapter!
