Chapter 4: the Parents Gloves of Shocking

Kukan woke up to a guitar amp, at full blast. He wouldn't have minded Kyoka's gentle strums, but this... Wait... Shit! He quickly finds Kyoka's father standing in front of him. Kyoka, and her Mother standing off to the side.

Her Father, Kyotoku Jiro, has wavy shoulder-length light-gold hair and triangular eyes like his daughter's. He is a Music Producer, and Composer.

Her Mother, Mika Jiro, has short, dark purple hair with bangs falling to the right side of her face and wears glasses. Like her daughter, Mika has plug-like earlobes. She is a Musician.

Kyotoku looks down at him, a stern look in his eyes. From personal experience this is just an act, but don't call Kyotoku out on it. He doesn't really like it.

Kyotoku says, "I'd like to speak with Kukan, here. Alone!"

Kukan going with it, gulps. The girls giggle, as they leave, but he could see the exasperation in Kyoka's eyes. Giving her a quick smile, as she leaves, Kukan looks to Kyotoku.

Kyotoku says, "I know I told you that you could come over anytime you want... BUT... I wanted to know when. I didn't mean for you to come literally whenever. When did you teleport in?"

Kukan answers, "Around four..."

With Kyotoku egging Kukan on, he continues, "In the morning."

Kyotoku replies, "Why?"

Kukan answers, "I, uh. I, uh. I snuck out. Around four I was already in the neighborhood, and thought it was okay. Kyo-chan was supposed to tell you that I was coming over."

Kyotoku replies, "She told me that you were coming over, but you never did."

Kukan says, "In my defense, okay, I had to deal with the bully of my best friend. I lost track of time. Before I knew it, well, it was already dark, and had to go home."

Kyotoku just sighs at that response. Of course. He then asks, "Who was getting bullied?"

Kukan answers, "His name is Izuku Midoriya."

Kyotoku asks, "Why?"

Kyoka's Father notices the flinch, as Kukan answers, "Izuku is Quirkless. He doesn't have..."

Kyotoku interrupts Kukan, saying, "I know what the term 'Quirkless' means Kukan. You don't have to tell me."

Kukan replies, "But he's always wanted to be a Hero. A hero like All Might. A hero who can save everyone they can, with a smile on his face."

Kyotoku sighs, as he says, "Quite the dream, don't you think? But let me guess, this "Izuku" hasn't trained for anything. No fighting styles. No weight lifting! Nothing."

Kukan nods in response. Kyotoku then says, "Good on you for acting like the Hero. Now go down stairs, we are having breakfast."

Kyotoku leaves the room, as Kukan stands up, doing the same thing. When Kukan gets downstairs, he sits at the table, and they eat. And as they finish, Mika says, "You should go home, Kukan. You wouldn't want to be late, would you?"

Kukan sighs. Of course he forgot about that. Shit! How would he explain being late today, as he figured yesterday's events would already be on the News. Kukan can already see the newscaster; Daikaku Miyagi reading the headline of "Quirkless Idiot does nothing to help save bestfriend, got saved by All Might".

Teleporting to his bedroom, Kukan quickly gets dressed in his school uniform. Before anyone could check the sound, he teleports to school, appearing right behind Mei.

Perfect! Tapping her on the shoulder, Kukan asks, "Hey Mei-chan, could you build something for me?"

Mei quickly turns around, screaming at the top of her lungs. She then sees her brother, and calms down. Hatsume realizes that he wants her to build something for him, and gets all excited. She asks, "What is this baby, you want me to build?"

Kukan sighs, he knew that would be her response to such a question. He answers, "Shock Knuckles. Well, they are more like electrified gauntlets that are hooked up to my brass knuckles."

Mei's smile grew even more, as did her excitement. This was what a sports guy would say an easy home run for her. She could easily make what her brother continued to explain to her.

She understood what this was for. Pinpoint. She knew who Pinpoint was from the first time she heard of the Vigilante. Only Kukan had his type of Warp Quirk, which are incredibly rare in the first place, like .001% of the world's population rare, which is only 7,800 people.

Mei then replies, "I'll do it... But you owe me, Pinpoint."

Kukan sighs, as he asks, "You knew? Do they know?"

Mei answers, "I've always known, but they do not, and it's better that way. Especially when you've killed people."

She finished her sentence with an accusatory tone, and glare. Kukan knew this, it was easy to read people, especially his own sister. He knew that she didn't like that. Ido then replies, "Every single one of them; Killers, Rapists, Pedophiles. They deserved to..."

Mei says, "I get it, just don't finish that sentence. Now let's get to class, or do you want me to tell my parents that you got detention, again?"

Kukan only disappears right in front of her teleporting right in front of her. He then reappears in his seat, just as the Teacher called his name for roll call. Kukan answers, "I'm here, Sensei."
