That night at the Tidmouth Sheds, the engines were all talking about the scrap monster.
"...It's getting closer and closer , but just then, it suddenly disappeared!" Said Philip. "Wow! That sounds scary!" Said Percy.
"Pah! There's no such thing as monster!" Said James angrily.
"Are you sure it's not just part of your imagination?" Asked Emily.
"I swear! It's real! I really saw it!" Yelled Philip, "Trust me!" "I don't think Philip made up this story," Said Thomas, "It must be real!"
"Could you guys just be quiet? It's time to sleep!"Moaned Gordon, "And Philip, go back to Wellsworth Sheds and talk to your friend Edward!"
"Edward was sent to the Steam Works this afternoon and he won't come back for a few days" Said Philip, "and If I stay at Wellsworth, I will be bored!"
"I don't care, just shut up and go home!" Said Gordon angrily.
"But Gordon, I think..." Said Thomas.

"Someone told me that it's a experimentation by the Ultra Evolution Institute." Said Nia. "The Ultra Evolution Institute?" Asked Thomas, "Why are they doing this?"
Thomas only knew that the Ultra Evolution Institute was a organization formed by Sir Topham Hatt to experiment some special device in order to improve the engines and make them more useful, but he didn't exactly know what it really was.
"I don't know," Replied Nia,"I just heard one of my passengers saying so"
"That's strange," Thought Thomas, "Maybe I should go to the Ultra Evolution Institute and check out what it really is tomorrow."
