When The First Love Ends' Birthday

Happy 16th Birthday, Autumn!

The date was September 2nd, 2020. It was a beautiful morning in Negi Root City. Autumn Cabrera [When The First Love Ends Miku] was sleeping in her bed. Until she felt something hit her cheek. Autumn opened one of her eyes and saw Dazzles, her pet kitten, poking her owner on the cheek with her paw.

WTFLE: Hey, Dazzles. Are you hungry? Is that why you're waking me up?

Dazzles meowed.

WTFLE: Okay. I'll be down in a second.

Dazzles understood, jumped off from Autumn's bed, and left the room.

After Autumn got dressed, she saw her friend Bristol Mondilez [Breathe With You] cooking breakfast.

WTFLE: Hey, Bristol.

Breathe With You: Good morning, birthday girl.

WTFLE: It's a good thing you remembered my birthday.

Breathe With You: Yep. You're turning sweet 16 this year.

WTFLE: Hey, if it's okay with you, can I talk to Ciel DuBlois after school today? It's been a long time since we talked to each other.

Breathe With You: I don't see why not.

WTFLE: Thanks so much!

After school was over, Autumn got home, went straight to the computer, and invited Ciel to chat with her.

Ciel: Hey, Autumn.

WTFLE: Hi, Ciel. It's been a while.

Ciel: Yes, it has. Happy birthday, Autumn.

WTFLE: You remember my birthday, too?

Ciel: Yeah. You told me when we first met, remember?

WTFLE: Huh. It must've slipped my mind.

Breathe With You: Hi, Ciel.

Ciel: Hi, Bristol. How are you?

Breathe With You: I'm doing okay. I was making Autumn a birthday cake. Now I'm taking a break and talking to you.

Ciel: What kind of cake?

WTFLE: Only my favorite cake flavor ever.

Breathe With You: Did you tell Ciel about how we met, Autumn?

WTFLE: I did almost a year ago when we first met in the park.

Breathe With You: That's right. You wanted to take a walk, and you ran into Ciel.

Ciel: I was sad because I accidentally broke something of Trickster's. And he didn't want to see me again.

Breathe With You: I'm somewhat glad that he's gone and never coming back.

WTFLE: Me too. What about you, Ciel?

Ciel: He was just starting to change.

WTFLE: You must be the only module that cares about a criminal like Trickster.

Ciel: Yeah. So, Bristol, how are your friends?

Breathe With You: Pretty good. As you know already, Serene [Siren] has a boyfriend now.

WTFLE: Isn't he that one deaf module?

Breathe With You: Autumn, there are 2 deaf modules, as far as I know of. And you're talking about Minoru [Yukata Len]. Yes, he's the guy.

Ciel: And how is he doing?

Breathe With You: That's the thing. Minoru is still in mourning. And he's been avoiding our visits to his house.

WTFLE: Don't you think he just can't hear you banging on his door?

Breathe With You: I just think he wants to be alone all the time.

Ciel: Keep trying, Bristol.

Breathe With You: I'll stop by his house again someday. But today is not the day. Autumn is more important.

WTFLE: Yeah, because it's my birthday.

Ciel: Well, I better go and talk to other modules that have a birthday today. Enjoy that cake, Autumn.

WTFLE: Oh, I will.

Ciel: And tell Dazzles I said hi.

WTFLE: I'll do that, too.

Ciel waved and signed off from Zoom.

Breathe With You: Your cake is almost done, Autumn.

WTFLE: Oh boy! I can't wait!

And so, Bristol and Autumn spent the rest of the day together.
