How do you help yourself when you are your own worst enemy? That is the question isn't it? That was the question going through my mind as I sat on the shower floor with my arms hugging my knees. I lost track of the amount of time that I've been in here. It seems like hours ago since the hot water went so cold I could see my breath. I don't feel the cold though, I wonder to myself will I ever feel anything again? My body is trembling, not from the cold, no, I no longer feel anything. My mind doesn't register anything. The only thing going through my mind is events of the party last night.
How could I be so stupid? Why did I leave with him? I knew better- mom always said "Don't go with strangers", "Stranger danger" and "Don't trust anyone and you won't get hurt". All these thoughts went through my head, just not when I needed them too. No you never think it until its to late. That's when you know you've made a bad decision.
My name is Summer Star, I'm 14 years old but people are always confusing me for my older sister Spring, she's 18 and has a little girl named Rayne. I have blonde hair and blue eyes but when I'm angry they turn green. I have a petite build except for my chest , it's huge 38D. I look just like Spring sometimes we would mess with people and pretend to be each other. Good times!! Those were the days before she had Rayne and before my mom had to send us off to my other sister Jade in Georgia. Jade King since she got married to Tommy King, he's not drop dead cute but kinda like the cute that grows on you. Jade has beautiful long brown hair and warm brown eyes, she's petite too and Tommy calls her fun size. Tommy has dishwater blonde hair and grey eyes that you can hardly see because of the military grade glasses that he wears. Tommy is skinny and about 6 feet tall, they look funny when they kiss because he's super tall and Jade is super short.
It's been about six weeks since we had to move in with Tommy and Jade, it's really crowded since they live in a one bedroom trailer so Spring, Rayne and I sleep in the living room. Usually Spring is out on the town with Rayne trying to find someone to take care of her. She makes me sick when she does that. Tonight is no different, except Spring is out with the neighbor. It's a shame really because Cooper Hayes is such a nice guy, I wish I could warn him about Spring.
When Tommy came home from work today he said some guys were coming over and we are having a party. Party Hell Yeah!!!! I'm so excited, this is my first grown up party. Jade and I got all the things out that we would need for the party, chips, soda, shot glasses, ice and beer, like i said provisions. Once everything was done I took a shower and pinned up my hair. I dressed in some new clothes my sister Jade got for me last week. My shirt was a beautiful peach tank top with a weird crisscross design and a white mini skirt. After painting my finger and toe nails a soft pink, and putting a soft dusting of make up on, I was finally ready.
The guys started to arrive around 8pm and the party was in full swing. Somehow we all ended up around the kitchen table playing one drinking game after another. Around midnight most everyone was plastered, and decided to leave. I never did learn any of their names, well no one except Rooster. Rooster had reddish blonde hair, a tall 6 foot muscled frame. Rooster was wearing a light blue button up shirt tucked into skinny jeans and he was wearing blue converse. One word - HOT!! I went outside to get some fresh air and after a few minutes Rooster followed me.
Rooster looked at me and leaned against the trailer crossing his ankles, "You're pretty" he said.
I felt my face flush and lowered my eyes looking at my feet, I mumbled a "thank you".
"You don't talk very much do you"? he said.
"N-no not u-usually", I stammered.
Rooster pushed himself away from the trailer and walked over to me, I had to crane my neck back so I could look him in the eyes. He looked at my face and took his left hand and caressed my cheek, waiting for me to pull away. When I didn't he slide his other hand up around my waist and pulled me to him. My heart was pounding in my chest so hard i felt it pounding in my ears, I took a shaky breath, i was unaware I had been holding my breath.
Rooster slowly lowered his head and I went up on my tip toes meeting him half way, he lightly brushed his lips across mine in feather light kisses. Slowly Rooster lifted his head and smiled at me, "Do you wanna get out of here"? he asked.
I couldn't think, I was so excited and nervous all at the same time, what if I did something wrong. "I don't know, I should get back inside" I said.
We went inside, I didn't see Jade or Tommy in the kitchen or living room. I started to their bedroom when I saw Jade and Tommy both on the floor in the bathroom hugging the toilet and taking turns puking. Eww!!! Jade looked up and saw me there and said " Summer, you need to go away"!!!
I looked back at Rooster and smiled at him and just nodded my head, knowing he would know what I was nodding my head for. After that we quietly went outside and shut the door, we both looked at each other and just broke out laughing. I laughed so hard i had tears rolling down my face. Rooster was holding his side as he laughed, after a while we slowed down and just looked at each other.
Rooster asked " So do you wanna get out of here"? Already knowing the answer.
"Yeah let's go".
We walked for a little bit and came to a small subdivision and walked up to a nice two story gingerbread style house. We walked into the house and I saw a large flat screen TV in front of a huge couch. There was three big -really big guys playing a video game on the TV. When they turned and saw us standing there they smiled. Rooster said "These are my bunk mates, Jake,Chaze and Bobby". As each one was introduced they stood up and gave me a smile and a wave. Jake had short black hair and was super tall well over 6 feet with abs to die for. Chaze had blonde shoulder length hair and abs - a solid six pack under 6 foot. Bobby was the cutest with soft curly blonde hair and about 6 feet tall with an eight pack. They all went back to playing their game as I followed Rooster upstairs to his room to listen to music.
I sat on his bed waiting for him to pick what we would listen to. My head was so fuzzy, man I was still really drunk. I must of zoned out because the next thing I knew I was laying down in the middle of Roosters bed and he was over top of me. I started shaking, suddenly very scared.
"Whats's wrong"? he asked.
"I'm not sure I just got real scared all of a sudden", I said with a small smile.
"I'll take care of you", he said. Rooster started kissing me with more passion than I'd ever felt. Wow this was awesome, This was nothing compared to when I lost my V-card. I was so caught up in kissing Rooster back that I didn't realize until my clothes were off and he asked if I was OK? I just nodded my head and kissed him back.
Taking that for a yes he continued and pushed his way inside. Oh my God!! Man he was so sweet, Rooster took his time and made sure I was enjoying myself. Once I finished he came right after me. Rooster rolled on to his back laid me on his chest, my eyes drooped and I was out. I woke up sometime later when I felt Rooster leave the bed.
"Where are you going"? I asked.
"I'll be right back baby, don't enjoy yourself too much while I'm gone". He said with a smirk on his face.
