Chapter 1

-Ryder
"That will be 1.3m please" the dealership asked.
"Are you nuts?" I shot up.
"I'm sorry ma'am but that's the money you have to pay if you want this house" he dreaded.
I frowned.
"I only have half" I say.
"Well I guess this house isn't going to be yours then" he added.
I sighed and picked up my purse.
"Could you please give us a minute alone?" Cameron asked while stopping me.
"My pleasure" he said.
"Cameron can you take me home?" I asked.
"You don't have a place to go" he started.
"I'll stay at a hotel" I said.
"No..... I will help you pay for your house" Cameron offered.
"No way Cameron! You do to much for me as it is. You can't pay for half of my house. I will get a job and find a place to stay" I say.
"Ryder. Your not walking out of here without that house. I'm paying for it no matter what you say" he insists.
"No Cameron" I say before he could sign the papers.
Grabbed my hand and stared into my bright blue eyes.
"Ryder. I have done a lot for you. But you have repaid me. You have done a lot for me to. But I never got the chance to repay you. Please let me pay for half of the house." He insisted.
"Fine. But only on one condition... You live with me and I pay you back" I say.
"I can make that happen" he said with a smile.
We signed papers and hours later made it to our new home.
-at the house-
"I never expected it to be this big" Cameron said in shock.
"Well we need a house for the both of us right?" I asked.
"Yeah I guess" he said.
I ran up the stairs while taking his hand and dragging him up.
We admired the huge glass window from our beach front view.
"It's beautiful" I whisper to myself.
-Cameron
"Your beautiful" I whisper to myself after hearing her say about the view.
"Huh?" She says.
"I didn't say anything" I lie.
"Oh okay" she replied back.
"It's almost six o'clock. We should at least go and get beds" she says while looking worried.
"There isn't a bed in this house?" I asked.
"Yeah but theirs only one king sized one" she says with disappointment.
This is Perfect. All I need to do is convince her that we can sleep in the bed together.
I have a massive crush on Ryder. She might feel the same way but she treats me like a best friend. Not like a boyfriend. She never sends mixed signals so I never know.
"We can sleep in that bed together. Nothing awkward right?" I asked.
"Why would it be awkward Cam? You once walked in on me naked" she said with a giggle.
"Haha yeah. But don't worry we will have a good night sleep and head out to the furniture shop tomorrow and decorate the house" I said with a smile.
"Okay" she said.
