Party Time!!!!!!!

Finally, after what seemed like forever, it was time for the big party. Pepper and I spent all afternoon afterwards getting ready. Pepper seemed excited for the big party, and I brought my backpack and she brought her purse.

"You ready to have a fun time?" I said, nervously shaking for no reason.

"Yeah! I'm going to dance until my legs turn blue! Or fall off, that is. Or I'll eat so much that I'll throw up and quit a diet! Or I'll get sooooo much gossip my ears will bleed! Or-"

"I'll come with you. Unless it's the bathroom- seriously, the bafff is gross."

"Why do you hate THE BAFFFFFFF so much?"

"Well, I guess it's just cause taking baths are-"

"Don't tell me. You don't take baths???"

"Oh, I prefer showers..."

"Oh, phew. For a second there, I thought you, like, actually, didn't have hygiene."

"Sis, I'm not that low. Paper or Bomb would do that!"

We both giggled. Pepper and I then left the house, waving goodbye to our parents along the way.

"Are you serious, Pepper? We're walking places in heels?" I whined, slowing down my walking.

"Hey, if that one guy from that one Junko Baseball fanfic can do it, you can!"

"But, I'm built different!"

"Oh, come on! It's pretty close, stop whining. You won't complain when the stars are out and you're dancing with someone you love..."

I thought about what she said for the rest of the walk there. Dancing under the stars with your lover...surely she was planning something. But, she wouldn't do whatever she was gonna do tonight, right? Pepper loves parties, she couldn't miss them. Right? Pepper isn't a good liar, she could never hide her feelings, that's just how she is. Pepper can't be doing what I think she might be doing, of course she couldn't. She just couldn't. I just couldn't live like that.

"Uh, earth to Salt? We're here..." Pepper sighed. The school was all decked out and ready to go. Lots of people were standing outside the entrance, waiting to go inside. OJ was all dressed up and ready to go.

Before the party, I met a couple more people.

"Angel Bow (admin: @Tdmikayla ) is so fab! She looks so adorable and nice, although I think she hates me. But, her gardening skills are through the roof! Like, seriously, how is she that good??? Too bad she's kind of awkward. Trust level: ???"

"Stage Light (admin: @Bagelsforall ) is a cool guy who likes acting. Don't get why he doesn't like books, though. But I can perfectly understand why he hates spiders. Little gross things. Anyways, he seems fun. Trust level: Medium."

"Kornerupine (admin: @floraicycat , please tell me i spelled it right) was kind of hard to approach at first. But, she's a way better photographer than Trophy. But, she's a little mean, along with hating my loudness. Trust level: ???"

"Toast (admin: @YellowScarfBoi ) is a pretty burnt and buttered toast. He showed me his dice collection, which is pretty nerdy. He can also do the cooking by the book. You know he can't be lazy! Trust level: High."

"Duck Hat (admin: pastatownlinguine) loves anime and is way too weird. She's really talkative, and will not shut up about anything and everything. But, she can tell your Zodiac sign just by looking at you, which his here only plus. Trust level: low."

"Testing, testing, one two! We are now letting in the students! We are ready!"

So, I walked into the school, holding hands with Pepper, not knowing what was going to happen.

Let me leave you all off with a thought. If, for some reason, there'd be an opportunity in front of you, would you take it? Of course you would, at least that's what I think. Opportunities open and close with every passing second, and you could make decisions in the heat of the moment on a whim. Sometimes, the best choice isn't what you think originally. But, that's what I think. At least, I'm not good or bad, just right.
