High school senior student Alexander Cash was sitting in his social studies classroom. It was the last period of the day. Only five minutes left of class. Usually, Mrs. Campbell lets her students leave early but this time that wasn't going to happen. A knock was heard on the door that startled everyone in the room. Mrs. Campbell walked over to the door and saw the principal standing there waving his hands and yelling something. He kept banging on the door. The door was locked. Mrs. Campbell unlocked it and Mr. Kafalas bolted into the room.
"Close the door! Close it and lock it!" He yelled.
"Why? What's going on?" Mrs. Campbell was curious.
"There's something out there. It attacked me. It looked inhuman. It bit my arm. Look." Mr. Kafalas rolled up his sleeve to reveal a bite mark on his arm.
"What the....?" Mrs. Campbell was speechless.
"I know right?! What could have done this? Something attacked me and it's coming. You have to lock the door."
As Mrs. Campbell locked the door, she asked, "Did you get a good look at its face?"
"Not really I—", A bang interrupted Mr. Kafalas followed by a scream from Mrs. Campbell. The thing was at the door. Not one but two of them. "There's two now! Only one attacked me. Now there's two!!" Mr. Kafalas exclaimed.
"Everyone get away from the door." Mrs. Campbell said. Everyone huddled in a corner of the room. The window started to crack.
"Hey! That's Massimo!!", shouted Alexzander Greeno.
"What?!" Mr. Kafalas asked.
"To the right! That's Massimo Musto! Oh my god." Alexzander Greeno said again.
"He's right. That is him." Alex Cash told Mr. Kafalas.
"Why is he like that? Is there some sort of virus going around? People go crazy and attack others??!" Mr. Kafalas asked.
"I don't know....but sir you have to get that taken care of soon. It will get infected." Mrs. Campbell said to Mr. Kafalas.
"I know. I will. That's not the problem right now. You don't worry about me. We will stay in here as long as we have to." Mr. Kafalas said. And they did. It was now 3:00 PM. Mr. Kafalas felt sick.
"Mr. Kafalas. Are you feeling okay?" Mrs. Campbell asked him when she noticed he was sweating a lot and looked pale.
"I feel like crap. My head hurts and my stomach aches. Am I pale?" Mr. Kafalas asked her. She nodded. "Oh god....are they still at the door? I can't really see." He asked. Mrs. Campbell checked and saw the two inhuman things still there.
"Yes I'm afraid they are. You should get some rest." Mrs. Campbell said.
"Okay. Wake me up when....they're not there anymore. Oh and thanks by the way. For letting me in earlier. I would have gotten attacked again if it wasn't for you." Mr. Kafalas felt grateful.
"No problem. Get some sleep. I'll wake you up later." Mrs. Campbell smiled and Mr. Kafalas fell asleep.
2 hours later, the things outside left. The window on the door had a few cracks in it.
"Mrs. Campbell. They're gone. We should wake him up, right?" William Maloney asked Mrs. Campbell.
"Right, Will." Mrs. Campbell replied. She went to wake up Mr. Kafalas.
"Hey. Mr. Kafalas. They're gone now. Sir, wake up." Suddenly, Mr. Kafalas awoke and attacked her. She screamed.
"Get something!" Someone yelled. Alex ran over to the desk to grab a pencil.
