Chapter 1: Origin

Man: Sorany! Cosmos! Great job on University today! You bring me great joy! You are truly bringing honor to the Starnaly name! You two deserve a treat! After dinner I'll ask your mother to give you her best pie yet! How does that sound!?

Cosmos: Sounds awesome dad!

Sorany: I would very much love that dad

Man: Perfect! Then I'll see to it she bakes it especially well!!!

Lorena arrive late and enters with a sad and tired expression

Man: Well, if it isn't Lorena, let's see how you did today

Lorena takes her report card and gives it to her father

Man: What is this!? Failure again!? We are the Starnaly family!!! For generations we have always been at the top! We have never failed and we will surely not start with you... Why can't you be like your siblings!? You make me sick, bringing dishonor to our name, you better not write the Starnaly name on anything from now on until I see an ounce of success, oh and you're not getting any pie either, you're eating alone tonight you're grounded.

Lorena starts crying and runs to her room

Lorena: This isn't fair... This isn't fair at all... I always give my best to make them proud... I do everything I can to make them love me! But all they do is bring hate to my heart, I hate Cosmos... I hate Sorany... It's all their fault... I wish things could just be normal around here, but ever since those two started showing the "family success" my life as the youngest child has been getting worse and worse... The only ones who get me are my friends...

Lorena takes her phone out and texts her best friend

Lorena: Hey, I'm home

Rayne: You got home safe? I'm glad, how did the old man take the report card?

Lorena: As usual, I'm grounded again...

Rayne: What!?!? But you where top of the class! Why the heck did he get mad?!

Lorena: Cause I'm not like my brother and sister, I'm not a successful enough...

Rayne: That's the stupidest thing I've heard, ya're a wonderful and intelligent student Lora, and ya know the only reason you're not straight A's is cause of our teachers bad handling of ya stuff in specific

Lorena: I know... But my dad is so fricking old school he believes I'm a slacker and a liar, he believes all the shit the teachers say and lie about, this is 2072 not 1984!

Rayne: Guess your dad was born in a old-school family, after all the Starnaly family is a pretty old family

Lorena: Guess you're right... But I'm sick of it all, lately I've been hearing this voice in my head and it doesn't let me sleep at night, it tells me awful things and it drives me nuts...

Rayne: A Voice?

Lorena: Yeah, it started recently when they locked me in the cellar for 2 hours for not wanting to help my sister with her rehearsal, I didn't eat before that and I was starving in there and suddenly a voice told me to end it, it told me I was trash and I should just kill my self

Rayne: Don't listen to it, that voice only wants to harm ya be stronger than that don't do anything you'll regret, did ya tell your mom?

Lorena: Yeah, but she doesn't believe me, she says I'm making excuses so I won't get punished for being a slacker

Rayne: Your parents are fucking insane... What ever ya do don't follow what the voice say

Suddenly Lorena's rooms door opens

Lorena's mom: Oh? Using your phone while grounded huh? Isn't that lovely?

Lorena: I'm sorry mom... I was just telling Rayne I got homr safe...

Lorena's mom hesitated to say much

Lorena's mom: Ah is that right? Do you have permission to use your phone while grounded?

Lorena: Mom, I'm already 18 years old, why can't I just use my phone?

Lorena's mom got a bit mad

Lorena's mom: I am telling you... To stop using your stupid phone.

Lorena: But why can't you just leave me be!? I just want to talk to my friends!!!

Lorena's mom: Oh! So you think you can just do whatever you want is that it? Since you think you can do anything you want while grounded then why don't you eat from the floor too?

Lorena's mom throws Lorena's food on the floor

Lorena's mom: Eat like a untrained dog... Cause that's how you're acting defying what I said...

Lorena: Why must you be such a bitch...?

Lorena's mom: What did you just say to me?

Lorena: No... It's nothing...

Lorena stands up and looks at her phone, then when she looked up her mom grabbed Lorena's phone and shoved it straight into Lorena's right eye breaking it making her start to bleed

Lorena: AAAAAAAHHHH WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!? WHAT HAVE I EVER DONE TO YOU TO DESERVE THIS!? WHY MUST YOU BE SUCH A BAD MOTHER!?

Lorena's mom slaps her across the face

Lorena's mom: Lower your voice! I'm not one of your low life friends, I'm your mother... I regret saying that but I can't change reality... And you get what you deserve for shaming our name, not only you don't live up to your brother and sister you also spread false accusations about your teachers and threaten those who don't believe you into following you, friends?! You have brainwashed loonies, you haven't brought anything good to this house since you where 8, it's been 10 years and you still fuck everything up, I gave you everything and you still fuck it all up!!!

Lorena crying on the ground responded

Lorena: Who told you this!? The person who did is lying, I never brainwashed anyone or talk shit about anyone! I always work hard for what I have and to make you guys proud, you guys make it easy for Cosmos and Sorany but pick on me for no reason at all! You guys just hate on me cause your marriage is falling apart and I'm the only thing maintaining you two together, the thunder rod...

Lorena's mom furiously kicks her with her knee in the face sending her flying back hitting her head with the bed

Lorena's mom: You ungrateful piece of shit, and now you call your brother and sister liars!? You call your teachers liars!? Who are you kidding?? You're just a bad behaved bratty kid who doesn't know shit and believes to be in the calibur of the smart ones, this is why we must teach you your place as your parents

Lorena: Parents? You guys don't even see me as a daughter... You guys hate me because of your shitty marriage, was I an accident or something!?

Lorena's mom holds her self back as her consciousness starts kicking in as she sees Lorena bleeding

Lorena's mom: You weren't an accident... You were just born into the wrong family...

Lorena's mom leaves the room

Lorena: Why... Why why why...

Lorena grabs her phone that was recording the whole time and sent the recording to Rayne as she starts to eat her food

Lorena's voice: You're tired, aren't you? Your friends company isn't enough, is it? Why don't you go to the cliff side? It's nice there, and if you jump you'll finally be free, you'll be loved and all the pain and suffering will go away, 10 years of suffering all gone in a second, jump, jump and be free

Lorena opens her right eye which was covered with blood and starts laughing hysterically

Lorena: Maybe... That's all I need to do... All I need... Hahaha...

Lorena looks at her hand covered in her blood

Lorena: I'LL - BE - FREE!
