I could feel the usual windy breeze in my face as I sat on a branch in the large brown oak tree. The park was usually quiet during this time of day so I was surprised to look down and see a boy. He had decided to sit down at the bench just below the branch that I was perched on. At first glance he seemed pretty normal. His head was covered with thick, jet black hair. From the position in the tree that I was sitting in, I couldn't quite make out the details of his face.

I sat there deep in thought when suddenly I see him look up. The boy was looking at me, and I was looking back. After a long moment of silence the boy spoke. "Hello! My name is Jimin. Park Jimin. I was wondering if I could climb the tree with you?" He stared right at me as he spoke, with a very genuine smile on his face. "Sure! Of course you can climb the tree with me." I responded, trying to match the smile that this boy named Jimin had plastered on his face.

He started climbing the tree and soon enough he was sitting right next to me. "What is your name?" he asked. "My name is y/n." I responded. "and... how old are you?" he continued. "I am 5 years old! I am going to kindergarten for the first time this year. What about you?" I asked him in return. "Really!? No way! I'm five and going to kindergarten this year too!"

After that, we sat in that large brown oak tree and talked for hours. Every single day. Just after lunch. We became best friends. We were inseparable. We did everything together. We went to school together, we played together, we laughed together, and we cried together. To this day, all of the best memories I have are of him. And I wouldn't change that for the world. I wouldn't leave him for the world.
