★-------- AS THE BLACK HAIR GRYFFINDOR walks down the stairs with her quidditch gear on and walks towards the great hall, she sees a sprinting James sprint towards her with a wide smile. Stephanie stops in her tracks and as the boy stands in front of her, Stephanie raises her eyebrows at the Potter boy.
"Rose, just the person I wanted to see." He smiles with a singing tone.
"Potter, just the person I didn't want to see." Stephanie fakes a smile, she tries walking towards the great hall but James stops her.
"Rose, just hear me out." He says which made Stephanie sigh and turn around.
"I really don't want to hear anything that comes out of your mouth." Stephanie crosses her arm as she removes James' hand off her. James gasps and places his hand on his heart, acting like it hurted his feelings.
"Such a bully, Rose." James teases making Stephanie roll her eyes.
"Hurry up, Potter and tell me what you need. We have practice soon and I really want to eat." Stephanie taps her feet smelling the scent of the cooked food.
"I need your help with Lily."
When he said that Stephanie started laughing non stop, she held her rib cage as she tried to stop laughing. She wiped her non existence tears before looking back at James.
"Come on, Rose it's been five years and she still doesn't like me the slightest." He begged.
"I wonder why." Stephanie mumbles.
"James just give it up, the girl hates your gut."
"That's why I need your help, please Rose." James begged.
"It's gonna take a miracle to have her like you." stephanie says.
"Please." James started frowning and making his eyes bigger like a baby who wants candy. Stephanie's face turns into disgust, looking at the big clock then looking back at the big man's child.
"I'll think about it." Stephanie sighs, James' face lightens up and starts jumping up and down in excitement. Suddenly the bell rang and the Gryffindor's quidditch team came walking out. Stephanie groaned and glared at James who ran away with the team. Stephanie sees Lily, Alice and Marlene walk out with the crowd with a napkin, Lily spots Stephanie and runs towards her.
"You didn't come so we saved you some food." Lily smiled and handed her the napkin filled with bread. Stephanie hugged her and said thank you before running towards the quidditch field.
"Rosey." Stephanie heard a male voice call for her. Stephanie turns around and sees the Prewett twins.
"Hi Fabian and Gideon!" Stephanie greets.
"You ready for practice, Rosey." Gideon asks as he puts his arm around Stephanie, while Fabian walks on her other side.
"I'm always ready." Stephanie laughs as they made it to the center of the field where their whole team is.
"Do you know who the captain is?" Stephanie asks Gideon who shrugs. Everyone was asking the same question, everyone murmuring who was going to be the captain and co captain. Suddenly everyone saw James walking to the team with Professor Mcgonagall.
They both stop in front of them, James stood tall with a big smile while looking around. Mcgonagall takes out her paper and puts her glass on, she clears her throat before speaking.
"As all of you know, We haven't announced who the captains and co captains are." Mcgonagall pauses while looking up from her paper.
"The captain is Mr. Potter." Everyone cheered and Fabian and Gideon started patting his back,James smiled while Stephanie just rolled her eyes at him.
"Okay everyone settle down, Now the co captain this year is." Mcgonagall paused looking up at her paper with a smile.
"Miss Rose." She said, smiled with an approving nod, everyone cheered and started congrating her. Stephanie stood frozen until she felt a pat on her back.
"I guess we will be spending a lot of time together."
