Chapter Two: Not So New Faces

"Soooo, where we going?" I questioned as we continued driving to some unknown destination.

"You wanted to see Tadley didn't you?" Ava answered. "I messaged him and asked what he's doing, and he's getting ready to go on lunch, so we're going to have lunch with him."

"Oooooh forget the broom closet, do him in the bathroom!" Lacey grinned at me.

"Yassssssss girl! We'll stand guard for you!" Ava smirked. I started cracking up laughing while shaking my head. I love them!

"I love you guys, you're amazing. I'm glad to know if i need a quickie i've got body guards to physically keep people out." I said still laughing.

"Wow, you really changed..." Reese remarked while shaking his head. I pinned him with a glare.

"What the hell do you care, Reese? Last i remember you sure as hell wasn't jumping to defend me when your friends were humiliating me every single day. You weren't going out of your way to hang out with me and treat me like i mattered. So why do you care what i do or do not do now?" I countered with annoyance.

Reese didn't say anything, and the car ride became insanely quiet the rest of the way. As soon as we parked i was the first one out of the car, causing the rest to scramble to catch up to me.

"Just a heads up, you thought Tadley was fine last time you seen him.... He's 10x more attractive now!" Lacey warned me with a grin on her face.

"Oh, i doubt he could get much hotter than he already was!" I denied. That boy was hot in high-school.

"Oh, no, he really did get waaaaaaaaaay hotter!" Ava agreed with Lacey.

"Can we just get this over with already?" Reese said in annoyance. He didn't even have to speak for us to know that he was annoyed, i just glared at him in response.

"You didn't have to come you know.." I spat out and then picked up my pace walking into the restaurant. I began looking around for Tadley but Ava ended up grabbing my arm and pulling me in the other direction.

We walked up to a table and my feet nearly stopped working, they were right! Tadley is 10x more attractive than he used to be. How the hell is that possible?! He's super buff now, has a beard, and a sleeve full of tattoos. My mouth dropped and i swear i was drooling a little bit. Well, looks like i wasn't the only one who wanted change.

"Hey, Lacey, Ava! Why did you want to meet for lunch?" He asked while he eyed me, he squinted his eyes a little. He's trying to remember where he knows me from. That's pretty sad, i spent more time around Reese, Seth, Carter, and Troy yet they couldn't recognize me at all. I spent the least amount of time around Tadley except for when we were at school and he was standing up for me and being nice to me, but he can recognize that he knows me just not how he knows me. I smiled at him and decided to help him out, i took a seat across from him.

"Kenslea Addams." I smiled at him softly.

"Holy shit! Kenslea you look amazing!" He stood up and pulled me out of my seat and into a hug, i hugged him back nearly melting in his arms. Jesus this man is delicious!

"Me? Look at you! I thought you were hot before, now add the muscles, tattoos, and your beard and you're devastatingly hot!" I exclaimed with a grin.

"Yeah, i work out a lot..." He chuckled.

"Well, i think i found my new work out buddy then! Because i know for a fact Lace and Ava are not going to come with me to the gym everyday.." I stated pouting over at my friends.
