★-------- THE FOUR GIRLS all sat in the library studying for their upcoming astronomy test, Stephanie was reading her notes until she felt someone standing beside her. Stephanie looked up and saw James waving at Lily which Lily just groaned in frustration.
"What are you doing here?" Stephanie whispered-yelled at him.
"I'm here for you." He smiled, making all the girls look up at him in surprise at what he said.
"Also Lily." James clarified when he saw the reactions, Lily shot him a glare before going back to studying.
"Let's talk in the hallway." Stephanie mumbled, grabbing James jumper and pulling him outside of the library. Stephanie let his jumper go when they made it to the hallway, Stephanie crossed her arm as James fixed his jumper.
"What do you need."
"Did you think about it?" James asked
"I did, but what do I get if this whole thing works?" James takes a couple of seconds to think before he answers.
"I'll give you resources for pranks and I'll get you anything at Hogsmeade for the whole year." He smiled, Stephanie took a couple seconds to also think before putting her hand out.
"Deal." She sighs out, James was quick to shake it. Stephanie retracted her hand and crossed her arm again.
"What's your "plan" anyways?" Stephanie did air quotes as she asked.
"Easy, you just play matchmaker. You put in a good word for me, you help us get alone and you give me advice." James answered.
"And if that doesn't work."
"Then we're gonna have to make a big move." He said sounding a little hesitant but yet still confident.
"Which is?" Stephanie tapped her foot in annoyance with his lack of actually fully answering the question.
"Then we could maybe fake date to make her jealous." He smiled a nervous smile.
"Yeah,no." Stephanie was about to go back inside but James stopped her by grabbing her wrist.
"Please Rose." James gave her the puppy eyes again making Stephanie look at him disgusted, Stephanie pulled her wrist away from him as she sighed.
"Fine but if we have to do the last plan, I want more than just a year's supply of Hogsmeade." James nodded and they shook on it.
"Now goodbye, Potter." Stephanie turned around to walk back inside the library.
"Put in a good word for me!" James yelled behind her, Stephanie groaned before walking back to the girls. The girls were all looking at her in confusion when she sat in.
"What were you and Potter talking about?." Marlene asked as Stephanie shrugged and opened her notes back up.
"Nothing, just quidditch stuff." Stephanie says as she looked up at Marlene who didn't look satisfied with the answer but nodded and went back to studying, Stephanie sighed before also studying.
After studying the girls went to the great halls for dinner, as they spotted the marauder. The girls tried to make a quick u-turn before James could see them but James saw them.
"Evans!" All the girls groaned when they heard him call for Lily, they tried to keep walking but the marauders caught up to them.
"How was studying, my dear Evans." James asked him walking up beside her, Stephanie turned to face him and cleared my throat loud trying to get his attention which worked. James looked at Stephanie in confusion, making Stephanie sigh in annoyance.
"Stop annoying her." Stephanie mouthed to him, James mouth formed an "O" before nodding and started talking to her normally which confused the girls and the marauders.
"He's being normal for once." Sirius whispered to Remus, Stephanie laughed, turning to face him before looking forward again. The group entered the great hall and walked to their table, Stephanie sat Beside James who was beside Lily. James kept talking to Lily who was covering her ears because of his non stop talking. Stephanie stepped on his foot which caused James to yelp in pain, James turned his face to look at Stephanie.
"Shut the hell up, you're killing my ear drums." Stephanie whispered in James' ear, swallowing hard in fear before nodding.
Lily mouthed a thank you to Stephanie which Stephanie just smiled in return.
"So Stephanie." Sirius spoke who sat in front of her, Stephanie looked up from her plate and nodded in response.
"Who's your next victim." He asked, Stephanie held up a finger and suddenly a Hufflepuff walked in the great hall with a tongue bigger than his face. Stephanie tried to hold in her laugh when the Hufflepuff student tried to speak.
"She is part of our group now." Sirius said in awe when he saw the hufflepuff, making Stephanie giggle.
