Chapter 6: This Couldnt Be More Unexpected

~Julia's P.O.V~

We were back at Dakota's place now, watching movies and such. We just got done smoking, and i made Dakota get up to make me food, like usual. She was in the kitchen doing her thing when her phone went off, me being me, i answered it.

"Hello?" I jammed the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" A familure stranger asked.

"Im watching American Horror Story, what do you want?"

He chuckled, "Is this Dakota?"

"Erm... no this is Julia, who dafuq are you?" I looked to the kitchen entry to hear pans dropping and 'shit' escape from Dakotas mouth.

"Um my names Jaime Preciado. Can you tell her i called."

I went silent.

Did he just say he was Jaime. Like from Pierce The Veil Jaime?

"Hello?" Jaime called out.

"Is this your idea of a joke? Cause its s'not very funny, dude." I seen Dakotas blondeness apear in the door way of the living room with a mixing bowl in her hands. "Whats goin on? Who you talkin to?" She leaned against the doorway, mixing the contents of the bowl. I shook my head and signaled for her to hang on.

"No? Im forreal Jaime." I put him on speaker phone.

"How we's supposed to know if you're Jaime like you say you is?" I asked.

Thats when pancake batter went everywhere.

"What?!" Dakota screamed as she hopped over the bowl that was once in her hands and plopped next to me on the couch.

"Okay okay, i got this." Dakota began, "How did you get my number, thats how we'll know if its really Jaime." I nodded in agreement.

"I was taking my pants off and a note fell out, saying i could tru-" Dakota cut him off by squealing.

"YOU DID WHAT?!" I looked at her with the biggest 'wtf' look i could shape my face into.

Jaime laughed on the other end. "So you believe me?"

Me and Dakota exchanged looks, "Yeah." be both said and shrugged.

"Yay!" Jaime said.

"So now what?" i ask. Dakota just gives me a look.

'Okay, okay.' I mouth, give her the phone and put my hands up.

"Bye Jaime," I say. "Bye Julia."

I head up the stairs to give them some privacy.

~Dakota's P.O.V~

"Okay... so what told you to call? I didnt think i'd make it this far." I giggle.

"I dont know, something just told me i should." He said truthfully.

"So now what, i dont know what to say." I layed down on the couch.

"Well, tell me about yourself?" He half asked, half said.

"Im Dakota, Im 18 and a Senor in high school... i enjoy music and i have alot of problems. Im not a crazy stalker fan or anything, so its your turn." I laughed at that last part.

"Well im Jaime, Im 23 and i play in a band called Pierce The Veil, obviously." He laughed.

"So wheres Mike and Vic and Tony?" I asked.

"Um, well, as soon as we got back on the bus they decided it would be a good idea to comince drinking, so they're all passed out in various places." We both started cracking up.

"Oh MikeyWhiskeyHandz." I laugh, "I see he lives up to the name."

"Yes, very much so." Jaime coughs. "What made you want to give me this note and everything?" the question i'd been dreading had been asked.

"Well.." I began, "I dont know... i just thought i'd see if youd do it, i didnt think you actually would. So i did anyways." I laughed nervously, "im not weird i promise." I walked upstairs, and into my room.

"Its all good." He reassured me.

"Jaime?" I asked

"Yeah?"

"Can you do me a big favor?" I looked at the clock; 12:08.

"Anything."

"Can you sing for me?" I layed on my bed.

"Sure, what do you want me to sing?"

"I dont care, but can you promise me something?" I covered up with my blankets.

"Anything."

"Can you promise me that when i wake up ill find a text from you?" I asked, squeezeing my eyes shut.

"Sounds like a deal." He chuckled.

"Continue on with the singing." I smiled.

I feel like this is the beginging of something ill never be able to forget.
