Chapter 1 dealing with being away

It was the starting of a war. I was in the middle of all the action and all I could think about was if I was ever going to see her. It was hard that I had to leave her behind. I was thinking about my girlfriend almost every night when I went to sleep and when I woke up. I can't wait until I can see the love of my life. I want to be with her for the rest of my life. I am hoping that we will be able to live our lives together. I hope she don't have to be lonely for ever. It will be different when I get out. It will change. Our life's will get better. (A few days later) we have talked on the phone and we are even more in love than ever. I can't wait until I get to go home and see her beautiful face and all of our family. She once told me when we was on the phone that our family's was going to spend the next holiday I was home with each other so we would take more time driving. They wanted us to spend more time with each other and both of our family's. It has been hard for me to be away from all of my family and pets. It is a very difficult decision I had to make. I love all of my family and my amazing girlfriend but I also love what I am doing with my life. (2 months later) it is almost Christmas time and my girlfriends father is coming to get me. I am nervous about seeing him. I hope that he will say that I have his blessing with what I am about to ask him. I really hope so.

I have his letter he sent me two months ago. He said that he wished he didn't have to go. He said that he will be back soon. He wants me to ask my father to get him. I am scared why. I hope he don't have to leave me for 5 years. (A few days later) he was on the phone when all of a sudden I heard a loud noise. He told me n it to worry that it was just a drill. I told him how worried I am about him. (2 months later) Today is the day. I finally get to see him again. It's been to long of a wait. I asked my father if I could go with him. But Chris said that he didn't want me to. He wanted to get cleaned up before he saw me.
