Baby Frost Pac was nibbleing on a piece of chocolate as he heard his mother. He then looked up and stared up at the puffball.
He looked down at the piece of chocolate held within Frost Pac's hands. His inner conscious told him firmly to look for another piece of candy, but his strong craving overpowered him and he grabbed the piece of candy out of Frost Pac's hands before throwing it into the air and swallowing it when it landed in his mouth.
The baby noticed that his candy was gone and he had tears in his eyes as well as starting to wimpering.
The sounds of the wimpering baby pac somewhat snapped the swordspuff back to reality as he realized what he had done. He held Frost Pac close to his chest, gently giving him an affectionate hug in an effort to calm him down.
The baby Pac then started to a squirm and cry within the swordspuff's hold.
Keeping a gentle but firm grasp upon the baby Pac with one nub, the swordspuff gave him a few gentle pats upon his back with his other nub. He still felt fidgety, but fought hard to keep himself under control when Frost Pac was in his presence.
Eventually the Pac stopped squirming and crying he was now whimpering.
Still patting the baby Pac's back, he held him up close to his face and gently nuzzled him with his cheek. "I-It's alright," he said in a calm voice, trying to shush him. "W-We can go buy n-new c-chocolate for you. F-For you and I."
The pac then giggled at the puffball's nuzzleing action and quickly grasped his cheek and started cooing.
Smiling now that Frost Pac was calm, the puffball once again cradled the baby carefully (he didn't restrain from allowing his cheek to be grabbed) and began to walk away towards the nearest town in order to buy some chocolate candy.
Suddenly there was a strange glow coming from the baby Pac.
Noticing this strange glow, the puffball held the baby Pac out in front of him. "H-Hey, w-what happening?" he asked, staring at Frost Pac as the glow continued to envelop him.
The glow became more bright eventually it wore down and the baby Frost Pac was evolved into Ice Pac. He as a bit bigger than his usually state through.
The puffball was shocked and, in his startled state, dropped Ice Pac and fell backward onto the ground. His eyes grew wide as he simply sat upon the ground and stared at the evolved Pac, his bottom lip quivering in fright and astonishment.
"Mama!" The Pac cooed happily, however he was still a baby he still wasn't capable of actually talking yet.
The puffball was unable to speak, still confounded by what had just happened. It was clear that this was not Frost Pac in front of him, but at the same time it was in a way.
Ice Pac then jumped off of his snowball onto the ground. He then waddled over to the puffball and hugged him while giggleing.
A slight cold sensation gripped the puffball as he found himself wrapped up in a hug by Ice Pac, causing him to shiver lightly. Still overcome with shock, he eventually returned the hug by wrapping his nubs around him as best as he could.
Ice Pac giggled then he started to climb on the puffball's head as he cooed.
He gasped before partially closing his eyes. The cold sensation moved upward as Ice Pac settled on top of his head. He sighed, looking up at the Pac out of the corners of his eyes.
The Pac then started to nibble and pull on the puffball's hat.
Alarmed, the puffball gently pulled Ice Pac off and held him up to his face before giving him a disapproving shake of his head. "N-No n-nibbling on my hat," he said. "I-It my only one."
