22.Chapter

It was currently 2am. I wasn't able to sleep. I couldn't stop smiling. The kiss I shared with baekhyun was replaying over and over again in my mind. Maybe I could move on. Maybe I already moved on. 

I groaned as soon as I heard my alarm go off. I probably started sleeping between 4 and 5 am. Since I didn't like waking up early and I didn't have enough sleep, it was even worse of a morning.

After I had gotten ready, I went downstairs to eat breakfast.
"Morning." I greeted as I sat down on my chair.
"Good morning." My whole family replied.
"So how was your date yesterday?" Jackson asked.
"Wonderful." I said, thinking back to yesterday. A smile made it's way on my face. My day was saved for sure. I'd meet baekhyun in school. I was already really excited. But what if he'd regret what we had? I hoped he wouldn't. He probably wouldn't, right? I mean Nayeon and Jennie talked about him having a crush on me for a while, so why would his feelings suddenly change in one night.

"So what about you and your girlfriend?" I asked Jackson, while wiggling my eyebrows.
"I almost forgot." He said.
"Since you are really curious about her and we've been dating for a while, I decided I'd bring her over for dinner somewhen this week." Jackson continued.
"That's a wonderful idea. I'm really glad to finally meet the girl that makes my son smile everyday." My mum said.

"Good morning, beautiful." Baekhyun greeted me with a kiss.
"Good morning, handsome." I replied.
He took my hand in his as we walked towards our first class.
"So how did you sleep?" He asked me.
I chuckled, remembering how my night was.
"I slept alright. I couldn't stop thinking about us and the kiss. What about you?" I replied honestly.
Suddenly, baekhyun stopped in his tracks.
"Did you like it?" He questioned.
"Like what?"
"The kiss."
I blushed. Of course I liked the kiss. It was amazing and so passionate, I wanted to kiss him again so badly.
"Yes." I answered shortly.
Baekhyun looked into my eyes. He put a strand of hair, that was  in my face, behind my ear. He ran his hand over my cheekbone, before kissing me again passionately. The kiss was even better than yesterday. Our tongues and lips were moving in harmony as if they were made for each other.

Suddenly, the bell rang, interrupting our moment.  We pulled away, looking into each other's.
"I'm so lucky to have you." Baekhyun whispered.
"I'm so lucky to have you." I replied, saying the same as him. Every word I said, I meant. I was lucky to have him. He was beautiful, caring and we got along so well. I didn't know why I deserved someone like him, but I was happy I had him in my life.
"Soojin, will you do me the honour and be my girlfriend?" Baekhyun asked.
"Of course." I said, before kissing him passionately.

We were currently sitting at the lunch table. Jennie and Nayeon came back to school today and we had the last lesson together, so we were waiting for baekhyun. As he came to our table, he planted a kiss on my cheek and sat down next to me.
"So what's going on between the two of you?" Nayeon asked, raising an eyebrow.
Baekhyun chuckled at her question.
"Are you two finally together?" Jennie questioned.
Baekhyun looked at me, silently asking, wether I would answer or wether he should.
"We are together." I answered shortly.
"I knew it." Nayeon squealed.
"Calm down, not everyone needs to know." I said.
"You know, it was so clear, when you walked into the classroom with that big smile on your lip and your smudged lipstick." Jennie explained.
"My lipstick was smudged?" I questioned.
To which Jennie only nodded.
"Is it still?" I asked.
"It's not that obvious." Nayeon said.
"And even if, I don't think it would matter." Jennie added.
I furrowed my eyebrows. A smudged lipstick wasn't exactly what I wanted in my face.
"Don't worry, as said, it's not that visible. We only saw it because we sit next to you in class and because we knew something was different. So we looked at you carefully for hints." Nayeon explained.
I chuckled.
"It sounds as if you're investigating a crime scene and I'm a suspect or something like that." I said.
"More like the opposite of a crime scene. We were trying to find out wether you did what we told you for months that you should do." Jennie explained. 
"And obviously you did. I can't wait for what the future brings for you two." Nayeon added.
"Don't you guys want to find a boyfriend? I mean you guys are so excited over baekhyun and I, and I wonder why you both aren't in a relationship" I questioned.
"No, I don't need a boy." They both replied at the same time. We all chuckled.
"Let's get some food"

"Hello, sister." Jackson greeted me, as I entered the house.
"Alright, I'm really questioning what's going on." I said, straight ahead coming to the point.
"Irene will come to eat dinner with us today" he replied.
"Oh, so your girlfriend is coming over." I stated.
"What's that?" I questioned, pointing at a bracelet with a heart that he was wearing.
"Irene and I have partner jewelry. I have a heart bracelet and she has a heart necklace." He explained.
"How cute." I stated.
"I hope you'll like her." Jackson said, scratching his neck.
"I'm sure she's a nice person and that I'll like her." I stated.
"Let's hope mum and dad will like her, too." Jackson added, biting his lip. It was clear that he was nervous and that Irene meant a lot to him.
"I'm sure they'll like her. Don't worry. She seems like a lovely person." I assured him.

It was currently shortly before 6pm. My whole family was sitting at the table, waiting for Irene to arrive. I had changed into a white casual, yet formal dress.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Jackson went to open the door.

A beautiful girl stepped into the room.
"Hello, I'm Irene. It's nice to meet you. I'm Jackson's girlfriend." She introduced herself.

We talked for hours. Irene was a lovely girl and my family loved her. I got see the adoration in Jackson's eyes. I was proud of my brother. Their relationship seemed to be end game. I was sure they'd marry in a few years, have lovely kids and be a family everybody would admire.

After my night routine, I layed down on my bed, scrolling through some messages. Suddenly, I received a message from Nayeon.

I'm really sorry to bother you and open old wounds, but there's this rumour that Jimin is coming back to school, and that already tomorrow.
