CHAPTER-1 BEGINNING

[JUNE] On tuesday morning I had to leave for work but as usual I was feeling so lethargic but my best friend gabriel started screaming and I had to wake up from bed and get ready so I got up and went to kitchen for some breakfast, gabie made  breakfast for me she is a very good cook and also persuing her career as a chef and as for me I work in my father's company , I always wanted to work with my father, he is my ideal . Anyways, I rushed to the office as I was running late .

                                                                    AFTER REACHING OFFICE

[JUNE'S FATHER] my sweetie , you are late today.

[JUNE] Sorry dad I lost the track of time , anyways how are you and mum.

[JUNE'S FATHER] i am doing good sweetie and as for your mother as usual she is busy with her work.

[JUNE] oh yeah , her big event is coming . Anyways, dad I will head to my office and you send me some files .

[JUNE'S FATHER] okay sweetie

  [JUNE]  So, I went to my office after some work and if you guys are thinking what my mother does then yeah she is an interior designer and she is mostly busy with her work but she never forgets to spend time with family and so we have a tradition that every week we will have a family get together dinner on mostly Saturdays . Also I have a 10 year old brother I love him the most his name is James. And as for gabriel she has no parents ,her parents died in a car crash when she was young so, my parents took care of her and she is a part of my family too.

As I started working my phone rang and it was my love george. He is my fiance
, it's been 6 months . We are in a pretty serious relationship and we have been dating each other since college .

[GEORGE] hey babe , how are you?

[JUNE] I am fine baby , I am in office working . What about you?

[GEORGE] nothing just running some errands

[JUNE] you do remember about our dinner date?

[GEORGE] ofcourse I do babe , I will pick you up at 8 pm be ready

[JUNE] sure babe bye love you ttyl

[GEORGE] bye babe love you

[JUNE] It's 6 pm and I winded everything early as I have to get ready for my date  so I went home and started getting ready and I wore a small rust color dress with black heels and hair with middle parting. I called george 2-3 times but he didn't pick my call.

[gabie] I think he forgot about your date

[JUNE] But we spoke this morning and he said he will pick me up by 8 .Wait it's george calling

hey babe , I am ready where are you?

[GEORGE] sorry babe I have to cancel the plan as I have to complete presentation for tomorrow's meeting.

[JUNE] oh, no problem I understand you do your work bye ttyl love you

And I hung up but I was really upset I was holding my tears somehow because this is the 5th time george bailed on me and he was so distant this past month .

[GABIE] I told you he is a freaking jerk . He could have atleast informed you before

[JUNE] I think I should go and surprise him and he is anyway working alone in his office.

So,I decided to go and see him in his office. After reaching there I thought of giving him a call but he wouldn't mind so I approached the lift as his office was on 5 floor and I was this close reaching his door.

As I opened the door I skipped a heartbeat ........
