Chapter 1

"What gender do you want?" Asked Louis as he prepared breakfast for his partner, friends and himself.

"I was thinking maybe, we go to the orphanage and meet the children,see who we connect with the best and then decide. That makes more sense, I think" replied Harry Styles. Louis Tomlinson nodded at his boyfriend's word as he served the breakfast he had prepared.

"Age group?" Asked Liam Payne, one of their best friends.

"I wanna get a toddler. I wanna see the child grow up, take the first steps"said Louis pulling a chair for himself, ecstatic about having a child to call his own. A child that would look up to him.

"That's great." Said Zayn Malik.

"When will you return?" Asked Niall Horan with a bright hopeful smile. He was beyond excited to be an uncle.

"We were thinking of going to the market first with the baby, to shop for them" replied Harry.

"We should get ready. We only have half an hour at the orphanage as arranged by Miss May" said Louis as they rushed through their mornimg routine.

Harry took a deep breath as he adjusted his beanie and sat in the back seat beside Louis. Louis had worn a cap and sunglasses and dressed opposite to what is usually shown in the media and magazines. Their nerves were hitting the sky.

They took a taxi since the management kept tabs on them almost every time. They were holding each other's hands tightly as the taxi took them to the orphanage.

In between the ride, Harry and Louis' mothers called to wish them luck. All their close family and friends knew about the situation and were supportive of it. Even, Claire, who was a part of their management team supported them and was the one who helped them out in arranging a trip to the orphanage and creating all the documents required for the adoption. They were deeply thankful for Claire. After all, if it wasn't for her they would not be in the taxi going to the orphanage in the first place.

In about 30 minutes they were standing in front of the orphanage. From outside the gate they could see kids running around. They looked at each other and smiled while giving each other's hands a reassuring squeeze.

Meanwhile, inside the orphanage a nine year old girl sat at the piano, pressing random keys. She had a passion for learning the piano but growing up in an orphanage, it was difficult to get professional lessons. She had Heterochromia iridum, which meant that she had eyes of two different colours. Her brown and green eyes were just moving to see all the keys of the piano. Her brown hair was tied in neat ponytails and a rainbow colored stuffed bear was tucked under her arms.

While she pressed random keys, a boy of approximately her age snatched the stuffed bear from her hands and made a run.

" MASON!!! GIVE ME RAINBOW BACK" she screamed and ran after him.

"Come and get it!!" He teased her. She huffed angrily and increased her speed.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR IT MASON!!!"  She ran through the long compact corridor.

As she reached the front porch, she tripped and fell on her knees.

"Oh my god! Are you alright?" Asked a very tall man to her crouching down to her level.

"Oh yes. I am fine. But that Mason is going to pay for it" she said furiously as she stood up and brushed her yellow frock.

"Hey little one! Do you know where we can find Miss May?" asked the man who was standing beside the tall man. He was rather short compared to the green eyed man.

"Miss May is in her office. I'll take you there" and before they could reply, she grabbed Harry's hand and pulled him through the thin corridor.

At the end of the corridor, she halted in front of a green door. She knocked on it.
