~~DICK~~
I was very observant to my surroundings even if I wasn't looking in a direction I still could see what was going on around me. I could see at the corner of my eye that Scarlett was clutching something in her left hand squeezing it every few seconds, it was a stress ball used in a therapeutic way to relax someone. That boy must really piss her off, it seems like he has been pushing her buttons for a long time and I thought bullying usually ended after high school. All I knew was a last name; Redhorn so I will definitely look into them later on the supercomputer. I tried to keep my focus on the beaker and not on Scarlett; she pushed some of the household cleaners that we needed to use in the experiment. After forty five minutes of this experiment Professor Wilkins made us clean up and incase our experiments into a safety field since one wrong thing could cause dangerous reactions. One by one the students finished cleaning up while I saw Scarlett was jotting some odd formula on the side of her notes on her notebook. She looked like she wasn't in her mind when she wrote them, almost like a trance until I touched her shoulder she looked at me snapping free from the trance. I watched her slam her notebook shut taking her goggles off her face and placed them on the table. She looked almost frightened when I sensed an unpleasant presence behind me and Scarlett looked pissed again.
"So Grayson is it? I got to say that I feel bad for you." The same boy who was torturing Scarlett earlier was at his tricks yet again. I turned to face him seeing he was standing there with his friends watching them snicker at their leader's responses.
"Oh and why is that?" I asked while I could see Scarlett at the corner of my eyes while she was cleaning up her belongings quickly not wanting to engage with them. I was placing my belongings into my backpack keeping my gaze onto the group before me.
"You got stuck with the freak...I mean I know you had no choice there but that doesn't mean you have to be friends with her." He laughed with his buddies chiming in as they repeated freak louder and louder where I saw Scarlett clutch her books under her arm brushing past them all. I felt bad for her, she disappeared from the room and I knew I had to follow her. I clutched my bag into my hand turning back to the laughing idiots in front of me shaking my head at them.
"Really boys, high school is over. Grow up." I replied walking away pushing my shoulder against the leader Redhorn brisking passed into the crowded hallway. Quickly I scanned with my eyes to see if I could find Scarlett anywhere, I saw her dark hair turn to the exit. She was heading outside as I slowly began to shadow her from a distance. She was heading towards a building that was called Fitness Center; I managed to move faster in order to keep up with her. The entire building was empty of students whether they were in classes or in the gym area so I know it would be easier to find her in here. I stopped by the entrance to see that she was heading to the stairs off to the right, she began to head down the stairs and I moved quietly after her. I got to the stairs pressing my shoulder against the wall when I heard her muffled huffs of anger. Slowly I peeked over the wall to see Scarlett pacing back and forth for a minute when she dropped her books to the floor. I saw that she was grasping her head in her hands with her breaths getting heavier now. It looked like her head was going to explode since her face starting to glow a bit red. She lowered herself to the floor placing her head in between her knees and now she was trembling. Deep down I wanted to rush over to see if she was okay then I saw her look up in my direction but she wasn't looking at me. Her blue eyes were gone; they were now golden like Blockbuster's were now. I watched her stand up turning to face the nearby wall, she slammed her fist into the fire extinguisher case causing me to jump. The glass that was covering the door shattered into pieces around her fist but she looked unfazed from what happened. She removed her hand from the case and I saw that there was a huge shard of glass in her fist, there was some blood dripping down her skin. Even with the shard of glass in her hand she didn't seem fazed by what happened this definitely confused me, I watched her pull the glass from her fist and before my eyes I could see the skin heal. Her eyes returned to blue when she saw the blood on her skin and with the piece of glass in her other hand she looked frightened. She looked up at the fire extinguisher case in front of her and she gasped to see what she had done. Scarlett began to look around to see if anyone was around to see what she had done but she didn't see me there. She threw the glass shard from her hand into the trash bin next to the door, picked up her books from the floor and headed into the locker room. Once the door shut I moved down the stairs stealthily as I moved over towards the broken glass hearing the glass crushing under my feet and I turned to see the extinguisher. I could see that the fire extinguisher was dented badly along with the metal door. I couldn't believe it, she has similar strength to Blockbuster? It all made sense to me now; that was why he wanted her, that is why she escaped. Scarlett has his powers and possibly his anger.
