Chapter 3

My mind is running wild, thinking that, is this guy actually interested or is he just being nice? Ugh... looked at me. My outfit and hair looked like crap.

"Are you always so zoned out?" he asked. I snapped back into reality and smiled.

"Actually, no. It's just been a rough couple of days, that's all." I replied.

"I know it's really last minute but would you like to go to a block party with me? It would be fun!" he said with those reassuring stunning eyes.

"Have you looked at me clearly? I'm a mess. I'm heading to my friend's house. I can get ready and we can all go to the party. If it's ok with you?" I said.

"Honestly I think you look good. But if it means that much to you, I'm down with your decision" he replied smiling. Gosh, this guy is so hot. My face is so heated and I feel as if I can't breathe.

I just invited him to my friend's house. What if he falls for her? She's such a gorgeous girl. She is tall with a model type body and long brunette hair. She's more of a preppy barbie doll girl. Her taste in clothes is a bit slutty and guys fall at her feet.

I looked up and realised we're almost there. As we walked at the door, she opened it and they both made eye contact.

"Hey, Alexis. Thanks for having me. This is my friend SK" I said.

"Well hello dear, nice to meet you. Come inside, I will show you around while Julianne takes a bath." she said in a seductive voice.

He smirked and said "Thank you" as he entered the house.

Here we go again. I guess he isn't interested in me after all. Oh fuck it, life goes on. I'm in desperate need of a cigarette.

After I got out the shower, I fixed my hair and tried to put on some makeup. As I walked down the stairs, I saw SK and Alexis tonguing each other so rigorously. She grabs him by the zip of pants and slowly caressed his manhood. With such jealousy on my face, I turned around to walk back up the stairs.

"Wait! Where are you going?" He asked moving Alexis aside.

"Oh, um... I'm a little tired. I think I should get some sleep. You guys go on without me. I'm sorry." I said trying to conceal my disappointment.

"No, but I really wanted you to come and enjoy youself. I know you said you've been going through a lot lately. Please, just come for a couple of hours." he asked so sweetly.

After a brief pause I hastily replied, "Fine... I will go but if I'm bored, I'm leaving right away." Ugh... why am I giving into his request. Usually I flipped guys off with the finger and walk away.

As we walked out, Alexis looked at me and asked surprisingly, "Julianne, are you wearing makeup? Whoa... I'm stunned. You never wear makeup. What's going on?"

"Oh my god. Its nothing. I just felt like trying something new. It's not a big deal." I murmured.

"If I might add she looks beautiful with or without it" SK mouth popped in.

Is he really serious? I just wanted to punch him in the face. Like why are you fucking with my head. I don't need no pity remarks from him. Ugh... some people disgust me. Plus, I shouldn't even be wasting my thoughts on this dude. I can't wait to get to this party!
