'Shadows all around you as you surface from the dark
Emerging from the gentle grip of night's unfolding arms
Darkness, darkness everywhere, do you feel all alone?
The subtle grace of gravity, the heavy weight of stone'

Mitch sat in his room, eyes shut as the insults came back to him.
'Faggot' 'Oh wow nice dog tags, are they from your BOYFRIEND?' 'Why are you so bruised? Are you just that clumsy?' they went on and on
Mitch had finally moved out, and in with Jerome.
Jerome was his savior, the one who was always there for him
The one who kept him alive for this long.
And honestly, he did love Jerome. He couldn't lie about that.
Anywho, back on topic, Mitch's parents beat him since they found out that he was gay. It forced Mitch out of the house, namely because he was close to killing himself
Then Jerome offered for Mitch to live with him.
It didn't change his emotional state though.
He still secretly cut, and boy did he hate lying to Jerome about the bruises the bullies gave him.

'You don't see what you possess, a beauty calm and clear
It floods the sky and blurs the darkness like a chandelier
All the light that you possess is skewed by lakes and seas
The shattered surface, so imperfect, is all that you believe'

Now then, Mitch wasn't a bad-looking guy
Women fell for him almost instantly, and due to his inability to fight back, that also made women bully him.
And one day he just couldn't take it anymore.
Not even Jerome's comfort could help him a this point.
He gave Jerome one of their buddy hugs before walking to the bathroom, he simply said he had to use the bathroom so Jerome wouldn't worry about him.
He shut the door, forgetting to lock it
Mitch walked to the mirror, looking at himself
'Ugly' 'Hideous' 'Someone with your personality really deserves the hideous appearance.'
But you see, people didn't just hate how he looked
They loved it to an extreme
He would get raped between every other class.
He hated it.
No one truly loves him.
He pulled out his razor, and sat in the tub so he wouldn't get blood everywhere
Mitch took off his jacket and set it to the side
He then took the razor to his wrist and pressed harshly, sliding it
He smiled as he saw the blood automatically gush out
He cut a vane

'I will bring a mirror, so silver, so exact
So precise and so pristine, a perfect pane of glass
I will set the mirror up to face the blackened sky
You will see your beauty every moment that you rise'

A while later Jerome had gotten worried, and when he went to check on Mitch, literally no sounds came from the bathroom.
Jerome opened the door, and froze at what he saw
Mitch had dropped the razor, left arm on his chest with the razor right next to his hand, right arm beside him but still in the tub
He couldn't take any more
Seeing him like this shows just how fragile he was
Just how he really couldn't take all of these insults...

Jerome ran off to grab bandages when he saw Mitch move slightly
He quickly cleaned the wounds when he returned, and wrapped them
Jerome picked Mitch up and carried him to the couch, starting a Skype call with the guys

"Heya Jerome what's going on?" Ty was the first to talk, no one had noticed Mitch yet due to not being able to see him
Then Jerome moved the camera so they could see Mitch.
