Days passed. I obviously kept going to school, shy and awkward whenever I exchanged looks with someone. Beomgyu was also quiet and shy. Until today.

I sat next to him during social studies class, since there weren't any seats left. We all have to do a project on why we think the environment is important to us. I was of course paired up with Beomgyu because no one else wanted to.
"Hey, I'm Beomgyu" he said quietly, I was surprised.
He had a medium deep soft voice, it was soothing to hear. I was sunken into his beautiful voice until I realized that I had to answer him.
"Oh, uh-I'm Soojun. Nice to meet you" I said shyly.
We discussed about the project and we both did some research on it, but let's be honest. I wasn't really paying attention to all the schoolwork. I was focusing on Beomgyu, especially when he talks. This was the first time I heard his voice, and I never thought I would be so mesmerized in a voice.

"This project will be due on Monday" the teacher said. I realized that we weren't't even close to finishing so I looked over and tapped Beomgyu, who was reading the article. He turned over and I quickly said shyly, "Since it's due on Monday and we're not done yet, how about we meet up tomorrow to finish? And once we finish, we can go to the park and hang out?"
He smiled, "No one has asked me to hang out with them. Sure!! What time do you want to meet up?" I felt so nice at the time. He's never been asked to hang out...
