Frost creeped up the windows. It was a sweet night. The most beautiful, as two souls breathlessly pulled themselves apart, warming in embrace.
It was the first snow of the year.

"Saranghae! I will always love you, however far we are."

Rin's happy façade soon dissolved into a mechanical drift. Soobin rarely saw her smile nowadays.
There were eyebags developing under her eyes. Moreover, the work load was more, as they were fished with a new project to be finalised within a month.
Rin was spending most of her days in the office, rarely getting out of her cabin.
Soobin was turning anxious about her health.
She was devouring ever single detail of the project, personally checking with the group, assigned for the work.
She was stubborn enough, to get every inch detailed. Even though the work was strenuous, not even one, working under her felt the stress. She made sure of it.
A hardworking boss always tends to energize the subordinates. It was no different in this case.
After the tiring days and nights of 'God knows how it will turn', it was finally the day before their deadline.
Rin was seen frantically arranging and rearranging, and rechecking the drawings and documents for the n^th time.
The dawn slowly turned to dusk. It was time for the birds to flock home. It was turning darker. And even darker.
"Ms. Rin! It's 9pm!" Soobin kindly reminded her with concern.
"It's ok Soobin-ah! Go home! I will stay here! Fetch me my clothes from home, when you come tomorrow. I will call Eomma and inform her." Rin tried to smile amidst the pile of documents and drawings.
"Yes Ma'am!" Soobin retreated, knowing it was no use to persuade her. It was difficult to reason with her, once she makes up her mind.
Soobin left, saying goodbye, looking at her with a feeling of concern, love and respect, mixed together.

Rin sat there, not moving a muscle, so engrossed in the project, that she slowly lost track of time.
It was 2.00am, as she finally stood up, all work done, flexing herself.
Her stomach let out a rumble, as she chuckled at her own condition.
She slowly walked to the floor's kitchenette. Her eyes searched in the cupboard, finding herself an instant ramyeon cup.
She boiled water in the kettle, pouring it gently to the cup, and mixed it with the packet spices. She also treated herself, to a cup of warm tea.
She took the instant ramyeon and the cup of tea, to replenish her hunger, sitting near the glass window, outlooking the city.
Seoul was beautiful at night. Especially with it's lit up cities, closed shops, bright neon letter boards, peaceful neighbourhood, small pavements leading to the close and compact settlements and busy streets.
