They help you with balance on your broomstick.Most of the time you don't use your broomstick,you just fly around.Your wings can disappear and reappear at will.When you want them disappear you just fold them into your back,and they turn into light.Same thing happens when you want them to appear,they turn form light to your fluffy wings.Since you can turn light into wings,and wings into light,you also have the ability to manipulate ALL light||
