Willy's POV:

In my arms, I hold the little girl that my wife, Kate, just brought into the world. This little one would be the heir to my Chocolate Factory when she comes of age. Her (E/C) opened full of wonder and curiosity as I smiled down at her with a tear in my eye. She is so beautiful. While my wife was pregnant, we decided on a name: (Y/N). It suits her perfectly.

"Beautiful, isn't she?" Kate asked.

"Beautiful doesn't begin to describe this little bundle of joy," I told her, "she is beyond words."

"Are you glad you stayed a while longer?"

"Who wouldn't?"

I had planned to go to a jungle to find new flavours for candy. After I closed my factory due to spies stealing my recipes and everything went downhill from there. I stayed just to see my child for the first time. It was worth it. Not long after, I left to go to the jungle to find a new ingredient.

I was searching the dark green jungle for a tree called the Theobroma. Like a sweet Margaret Mead, I let my nose lead to its heavenly chocolate aroma. But the jungle was filled with snozzwangers! Hornswagglers and wicked wangdoodles! Who would make you their lunch as your bones they would crunch as they boiled your limbs for noodles. But no wretched beast would make me their feast for my sword is as swift as lightning!

One by one they all fell though the ooze and the smell they emitted was twice as frightening. Then from high in the trees, I heard foreign "Whoopee!"s. Then the source of the sound were all there on the ground, barely up to my knee they all screamed "We're all free!" and celebrated. Well, they all dressed me up like a hero They were breathless and simply elated. Explanations were sung in their strange Loompish tongue.

They explained how the creatures hoarded all their chocolate and through the years other chocolatiers tried to do what I did but ended up eating by the creatures. I offered to let them stay I'm my factory in piece away from all the horrid creatures. They agreed and I managed to sneak them into my factory. I introduced Kate and (Y/N) to the Oompa Loompa's and told her everything that happened in the jungle.

(Time skip: 11 months later)

Eleven months since my little girl was born and Kate has been very sick lately. What is very worrying is she hasn't gotten any better. Only worse. She has a fever of some sort. I've had to open my factory again to help pay for medication but it hasn't really worked yet. I'm hoping it will soon. Unfortunately, Kate died before the business took off again.

I tried not to let Kate's death get to me for the sake of my daughter. I now have full responsibility of my little candy girl. Now that I'm more focused on her, I'm not sure I want her to take over the factory. I'd be taking away a future that my daughter would want when she got older. I didn't want to do that to her. I'd be a cruel dad if I did that. I'll figure something out. Right now, (Y/N) is my top priority.
